Hey so ive been botting for mass gold lately on 2 chars on one server and have a few private buyers already buying from me. Would it be safe to make website for say jsut my server and then 2nd one ive branched off to to sell gold and then promote the server off trial accounts in trade chat etc. Then sell the gold through the auction house to real players so its not just lvl 1 fail transactions going down? im just wondering the likeliness of this working thanks.
website costs + costs of vanilla accounts for advertising with only 2 toons farming won't make enough gold to support anything
He's right here. I only run 2 accounts, soon to be 3, and if I had a website to sell the gold, I'd probably only make about 80% of my monthly investment.
i have 5 accounts 2 are lvling up to be on other server and 3 on main server i was planning on just using shit trial accounts for advertising becuas ei have prob 20 of those keys around the house and the website would cost me nothing with a webmaster in the family and me and brother web designers
It's much bigger than building a site advertising your gold for sale. Think in terms of payment options, reversals, account bans and so forth. Morga
well ya we can set the shopping cart all that up np we have had multiple sites for toys etc and have the knowledge. the main thing im worried is if id get caught by selling the gold through auctions? is that something that people get banned for etc. i would think mostly the bans are from selling to level 1 toons all the time in large amounts but from a say 70+ char to a 70+ char im wondering if that will get me caught in the auction house. and like i said id be promoting the site through trial accounts id be making for free because of the keys laying around
Honestly, I don't know having a website, using trial accounts or advertising is worth the time and energy to sell on just one or two servers, that's just my opinion. You might want to try Playerauctions or some other already made site. Morga
Thanks for the PA advice but that site is garbage and they take way to much money out of what u sell plus they are not very active for buyers. Im guessing i should just keep on keepin on and decide to just make my own website and do the trial accts.
thought about that too, but to be successful you have to have gold on every realm (at least 100k in stock...) so you have to have 2 to 3 accs for each realm. No one can stamp that out of the ground if he really needs money The initial investment for 100 accs (and you need more) is (with your own bot, course in that scale you can even afford to let so code a bot just for you (chances of detection much less if blizz can't spy on the programm (by buying it )) 10000€ (for the Computers) (1000 for one that can run 10 bots, 10 times) 66000€ for WoW-Accs inc Cata plus 22000€ every 2 month for GTCs I'm saying that s.o. who has ~100k € lying around doesn't have to do this And you need to advertise and hold staff for the selling. Correct me if this is too much, but i think you'd need even more money
lol player like i stated before i was making a website for my server specifically i have multiple buyers already and have made 200+ in the past 2-3 weeks from them im planning on making a site so that i can find more people to buy gold on my specific server. And i guess ill just have to buy vanilla accts to spam trade on since they only cost 10k gold thats no biggy at all. im making 200k+ a week easyyy with one character so this should be no problem to supply the people i find that want gold.
heres the thing, we arent a gold buying and selling community, yes some people do buy and sell gold for a living, but the people who are really successful at it, dont want people to know how they do things, because its so easy to do, anyone can easily move in, if they know the tricks of the trade. so back to what i was saying, we're a botting community, not a gold selling one, it would be better to try and find a site more dedicated to that kind thing and see if you can make connections, our forum is not really setup for people to make those connections and do trades and sales safely.
ahh i was in no means trying to get connections to people buying gold here lol not what thread was intended to do. The main thing i was wondering was if getting caught trading large quantities of gold through the ah was a easy way to get banned.
