You are only protected in some ways unfortunate. I see your business hasn't been reviewed or in legal trouble it seems. When it comes down to legal issues such as lawsuits or if you are doing something that could be turned against you in a court (illegal business), then the Ltd. or GmbH wont protect you unless the ppl registered as members and "director" are not you.
So you guys knew this was coming when you retired our keys and charged us for new ones ? If that's the case the karma coming your way is gonna be a lot worse then anything anyone can type on these forums.
My condolences for your loss. It's unfortunate that it had to end this way, but thank you for all the years at least. Does this mean the end for all your bots as well?
Apologise, not meant to be rude or something. I just wanted to point out that different countries handle different visually similar/equal cases. Like US vs Germany. I am not expert in either of their legal systems, but the result is clear - Honorbuddy would not survive in US for more than 1-2 years - everyone could agree with that, but its still running for ~6 years in Germany.
Well, this is obvious, Blizzard is trying to do as much damage as possible but not too much for that might be rejected by the judge - hence the minimum amount. Of course they're going to pull numbers out of thin air, facts and accuracy is not the point, driving you out of business, is. They're guessing $8.5 million will put you out of business, it's pretty accurate. Since I'm not a lawyer and I don't know all of the facts - I don't know your chances to dodge/survive this one. Even if you dodge this one, with the revoke of lifetime license, increase in price and the fact that banwave is getting more and more common, it's probably time to think longer term or maybe close shop and rethink a better strategy - like building a better, hopefully, non-detectable bot and sell it under different name, different company? Whilst I'm talking about the cancellation of lifetime key and increase in price, I don't really mind it if the software is safe but given the current trend, I can't justify spending money on it. Regards, JG
Are you trolling? Or simply cannot get the sarcasm here? Bossland is clearly making fun off that silly scenario, the hopeless Blizzard lawyers are trying to draw. They are so hyperbolic, so I am sure, neither of them believe themselves But their attempt was quite hilarous, with the silly $8.7m number, they are trying to engage Bossland into the spiral of the US legal system, which even the 8 years-old-kids know that serve only on the corporations. This was obviously noticed in the ~350 comments under the torrentfreak article, mostly done by US based people, which in general do not tolerate the cheating in multiplayer games, but commented that Blizzard have used completely irrelevant arguments fro their claims, and those are too easy to be countered in any court.
I normally don't bite into troll posts but ..... (and btw this is not aimed at Bossland) Bossland does not and I repeat does not have to tell you anything about the state of the company A lot of fools here are mistaking the fact that they bough a licence for being a share holder you bought a licence for a product , again you are not a share holder That would be like saying that because you own a copy of windows Microsoft has to tell you the state of the company I understand that people are still angry about the fact that lifetime keys were taken from you, I would love to see all these losers and what they will do once the bot is shot dead for good, back on the doll for some of you I guess... If you can't afford 20 or 30 dollars for a new key .... well go out there and get a job. To Bossland and co. I really hope you guys continue, there are plenty of us who appreciate what you are doing , not only with the bot but with the law suit, it takes balls to take it up to a big corp. Best bot I have ever use and I probably have use all of them ... good luck to you guys
I just hope you guys lose this battle. Lose and shut your company out. If i'm not asking too much, you guys should be arrested too.
So, haven't been around for a long time. Is HB coming to an end now or something? I've been thinking about playing WoW but won't even bother without HB
No one knows the future for HB right now, what we can do is continue to use the bots and provide funding for bossland to continue the good fight, because as they say everywhere. botting is not illegal.
