Hello, I receive the new version of Pokefarmer bot (1.0.190) and when I uncompress the zip file, Mc Affe say to me that pokefarmer.exe contain "Artemis!F8C407508ABC" Trojan. Real or fake ?? Best regards. PopCornXXL45
I'm getting the same on Avira Anti-virus. After updating PF to 1.0.190.0, the anti-virus is detecting Pokefarmer.exe as "TR/Agent.jqerq" and moving it to quarantine.
Hi Tony, I will not put the security of my computer for any Pokemon in the world. Your statement: this is the only way can not be, with Ninja.bot it goes also without the virus scanner announces alarm sorry for my bad English have nice weekend
Other bots are not written in pure C++. Unfortunately, anti-virus applications do have false positives. Our products do not contain viruses (use VirusTotal if you really want to check). We take security far more seriously than even you probably do. If you feel compelled to, send our bot to your anti-virus company to have them check it for viruses themselves and add their own exclusion. Otherwise, add one locally for yourself. We cannot "fix" something we have no control over. False-positives are not an uncommon occurrence these days. If you choose not to use the bot because of them, that's your choice.
Well, finally one of the synonymous explained what and does not just say: take or die Your explanation sounds quite plausible Thank you
Couldn't have said it any better than Apoc! There have been versions that have indeed ran false positives. A great example to give some of you still fearing the worst. If you setup a new computer, and only install an antivirus and a fresh copy of windows (with no internet connection), you will still find alleged malware and such with false positives, because the programs look for communication behaviors and such, thus, those afraid that PF is a threat, should be afraid that windows is a threat to itself. Enjoy the new version and fear not.
Not sure how to make this download an exception my antivirus program will not allow the downloaded file to up zip without deleting the files it doesnt like. it then totally scans and cleans my system ?? any ideas images below
