      i was wondering if its possible for a plugin or a bit of code we can add to any profile to make it ignore certain bags so you dont lose herbs or anything you dont want to lose but forgot to edit the protected items in the profile.

      Not bags, but you can protect the contents of the bags.

      Just add all the herbs you have in those bags to the profile .

      In case you don't know how to do that, just search for the item on wowhead.com

      And when you find the item, look at the Page "Url" , should be something like this :

      http://www.wowhead.com/?item=36903

      Copy that number and add it under :<ProtectedItems>
      Should look something like this:

      <ProtectedItems>
      <Item>36903</item>
      </ProtectedItems>

      Personally, i have a .txt containing all the items i need to protect, i just copy from it and replace the protected items in any of the profiles i use.

      You can add a comment before every item to easily identify them , like this :
      <!--Adder's Tongue-->
