I quit as soon as I got the message, it left after 30 or so days. I never resumed botting with that account, and I am still not banned. Fingers crossed.
I had the warning for a long time, and i stopped botting for a week or two then started bot again, after a while it went away and shortly after i was banned. I just got the warning message on my new account so will lay low on that one for a longer time
I know it's not proof positive that it was PokeFarmer that did it....but anecdotally I see a pattern developing here. Who knows if ANY of the bans are because of PF...but it certainly seems they have detected some pattern or some sort of statistic that makes them flag the accounts for the warning. Maybe then they look over some of the accounts "by hand" or "more closely"? Who knows, as always I hope for the best and assume the worst when it comes to Niantic.
I just receive the warning sign also so does that mean i cant bot no more because on the pokefarmer it says to wait 24 hours to avoid the bann but i dont wanna get banned if i wait 24 hours and then start botting and my account gets banned
The 24 hour warning is not the same, that's from PF. The one in-game is from Niantic and means they suspect you are using third party apps, which is a TOS violation. If you care about the account, it's time to lay low.
I did not check all my accounts, but black welcome warning screen is back on my two main accounts. Ban is coming soon?
Hi I have the warning. Only ever used ivfly. Don't spoof or bottle Lvl 28 nothing super special Changed password twice and uninstalled and reinstalled twice. Removed ivfly. Have another account on this pine l phone for little one which doesn't have warning. I've recently spent a bit of money (balls, incubators etc) I'm worried now I'll get banned? Any ideas? Had it for 2 days now Any ideas Thanks DirectorKrennic
Warning still gone for me...I used it on a phone today for an hour walking around town. All seems normal still. Haven't botted it since the warning started, warning lasted about 30 days.
are you kidding? only thing that could've caused it was another 3rd party app for pokesniping which is against the rules but what else would cause the message to display... it has to most definitely be pokefarmer.
Haha...a lot of folks here are using multiple third party apps, or spoofing or cheating in other ways. I consider myself somewhat of a control experiment...my account has never used any third party other than PF, and I quit doing even that almost 2 months ago. I guess my point is there's no way to prove it either way, but it certainly is trending towards niantic figuring out some way to track it.
Did you get that on google account or PTC? For me it is back for google and I got a mail on my phone 'Something is not ok on your google account. Login in again to verify.'-or something like that.
Very often on my phone, I have to re-enter my google password. the only thing i use that phone and Google account for is POGO and PF (my main phone is a Windows phone and doesnt support POGO. The password hasnt changed. I got the warning appearing near the end of the easter event, after I had started using PF to hatch eggs. I got a soft ban that was at least 2 hours, but 10 hours later it was working again, so not sure how long the soft ban was
Three accounts. Two use only PF - black warning. Third... I played only phone. Once run on PF to quick look list of all attack. Got black warning after the 15 minutes on PF. IMHO Niantic says PF is third party application. Will be banned?
Given all of the information here....you had better never log into that account in PF again...and maybe you will be OK. It doesn't seem promising though.
