I tried searching for either, but the character min. limit search isn't allowing me to search it. I also checked the stickies, and don't see any information. What are the differences between these 2?
this is just in my experience: pvp bot runs around (hopefully) killing enemies. while bg bot captures flags, kills flag carrier, captures nodes?
I also checked the wiki, but it has no mention of the "BG Bot [Beta]" mode. Yea, I tried "BG Bot [Beta]", and it stays at nodes while attempting to go to other nodes (i.e. AB/EoTS), but it never actively attacks things. It runs to the node full of enemies, sits there, until it gets attacked, and it defends itself. I guess right now "PvP Mode" with profiles (and the Squire plugin for supported BGs) is the better option. In addition, where are the PvP profiles now? Or are there none, and the bot uses a different algorithm (i.e. like the Squire plugin where it follows player density or person with the highest health or the likes)?

i was using pvp bot before, i switched to bg bot beta, really good and less bottish with a very good CC ur problem not targeting anything come from ur CC not the bg bot, it's the cc who determine how it will detect enemies, what range, combat, etc...the bot only do the navigation and all ting related to the map itself, not the char. char = CC what need to be improve in BG bot : - AB and all other map : when bot checked number of player at base, it go where there is the more players, bad, bot need to go where there is less players tactic in AB is : at start u take 3 bases, 3 player per base stay to defend ALL others attack So when the bot go at flag where there is already 3 or 4 ppl, the ppl there will said you to leave coz enought players to defend already, so if u don't answser or move u re falgged as afk ,botter) for the DEV : in AB bot don't need to go at flag whee there is already 3 players make the bot in AB go always where there is less players. If bot go to the flag and detect there is more than 3 ppl already, DON'T wait here 10mn, this is stupid for EOTS : bot wait too long in empty base for WSG : bot wait REALLY too long at base, i tried 2 times WSG with bg bot, and i don't select it now, coz reallyeasy to be caught, bot go to the base and don't move when u re dps classe like me DK, u're role is to attack not defend, so ppl that is present in the base with u, will start to talk with u and ask you to leave to attack as said before, i can see exactelly how ppl will react in BG near the bot, i babysit my bot 24/7h So conclusion : bg bot AB : nice choice to do with BG bot, but need some change in the decision of the bot to choose base to go WSG = avoid u willbe caught really fast EOTS = good BUT, 50% of the time the bot non stop run into the gate before the game start, runing up and back AV : good choice SOTA good choice personnaly i only select one bg : AB and if i select 2 i select AB+EOTS or AB+AV Ah yes IMPORTANT for DEV : plz for ally side in AB, change the hotspot, when game start the bot go directelly to the middle (blacksmith), stupid choice, coz 99% of the time this base is take by horde at start, so bot die everytime in every BG the ally at stat take : - mine 3 player defend - stable 3 player defend - lumbermill 3 player defend ALL others player attack So plz make it possible for the bot to don't go where there is already 3 players at base.
