To a certain extent, yes. The program updates the scripts for each instance it is able to run. Now, there are many instances they have "put on the back burner" because of the "HB cant fly to its corpse" but that has changed, as you can see. The actual program does not update. You'll need to re-download the program each time there is an update. Alternatively, there are some programs on this site that will automate your update process and archive old files in case you need to "roll-back" to a previously usable version. (Strongly recommended you keep at least the last 2 updates, sometimes things get a lil' quirky around here.)
For looting I had to switch back to a previous version of HB as well.. the new release is worthless for IB.
Hey guys, don't want to sound ungreatful (because I am certainly not!) but I have to ask why IB still says it supports Stratholme: Service Entrance when it definitely does not (and has not, really ever). We all want something that supports Strat UD, but those of us who have tried know it doesn't work. Anyways, just wondering
how do i make ib run other dungeouns than what it has pre loaded im still trying to figure this out, any help would be appreciated. also how do i get it to loot blues/epic items that are bop when solo farming instances?
Could anyone please help me getting instancebuddy to work? for my low level chars it works just fine. But if i select Farming Mode on my Warrior (85) and set it up to Farm Scholomace it keeps telling me
Heya thanks for a great plugin, haven't tried it yet but have a question, does it only support Blackrock Caverns, Stonecore and Vortex Pinnacle in Cataclysm?
Is there a single heroic that can be done at 85 with InstanceBuddy as DPS? All I need from heroics is Valor Points now, and running them for just points is so annoying. I'd rather just bot an entire day of queueing and leaving blacklisted instances until I get a working heroic (if there is one).
I would say Vortex Pinacle is the only one where you can pretty much afk as dps without a hitch. Stone core has a boss where the bot would not be able to maneuver long enough to stay alive. Blackrock Caverns has a boss where you might be asked to manage adds and that it basically a dead give away. I bot as healer and manually control the bot on boss fights. It's kinda sad that the bot is a much better shammy healer then me. I figured out couple of days a go how to disable movement so now I even bot during bosses just disable movement for the boss fights and manually position the bot.
