Hello. I am making this post today because my bot dies ALOT! I am currently running a level 85 rogue with herbing/mining as my farmer. Anytime there is a mob by a node he pulls aggro. He does not fight back but just stands there and dies. He doesnt even auto swing! This makes me lose many, many nodes and also makes it obvious that I am botting!

I would appreciate any suggestions on how to make him fight and not die every 5 minutes.

Well, I would blame your CC..

Are you running GB2? And do you have a plugin turned on that would stop your movement/combat? Does your CC have a disable all movement button that is selected? Most CC's are built to auto turn to whatever is aggro'd, kill it, then ask the bot what it wants to do next. So if its not fighting at all, something might be set up wrong with your CC.

Oh, sorry. I assumed you were using GB2. I'll let someone else answer that, I'm not so keen on GB. Sorry. :(

      Awesome, the macro worked.

Another thing is whenever there is a node in a cave the bot plows into the ground trying to reach it. This also makes it obvious that I am botting.

Don't worry so much about being obvious boter. You cannot eliminate all of these things. You can blacklist all the nodes where he plows down so that he will just fly past them.

GB should auto blacklist nodes that it is unable to get to, otherwise add the node to the badnodes file.

If you're using GB1 and are worried about being too botlike I highly recommend trying GB2 if your CPU can handle it.

I have said this many times and I'll say it again.. your GB1 is not fooling anyone. The way it flies is completely bot-like, and the combat system is inferior to GB2. THREE hotkeys that specify what you do in combat? It's a joke compared to custom classes that GB2 allows.

In fact, I saw a thread a while back on official WoW forums educating everyone on what a GB1 bot looks like (though only I knew it was desribing GB lol).. one of the key points is the way it flies directly up, and then to the node, something unavoidable in GB1.

So if you are running only 1 copy of GB, give GB2 a try instead.. the only real downside is the CPU processing cost of GB2 over GB1. You can convert most every GB profile into a GB profile using GB to GB2 Profile Converter plugin.

Make sure you read the guide... which if you did, you would have known to use the macro's.

After that, you will also know how to blackspot nodes.

GB2 > GB1 for fighting and imo easier for nodes. There's a guide somewhere on that as well. Use the search feature

My computer can definatly handle it. Where can I download GB2? Or do I have to pay extra for it?

I didnt mind GB2 but my relogger wouldnt detect when my client got disconnected, or sometimes wouldnt even hit start on HB and would just sit there.. so I use GB. Also sometimes repair npcs dont work, player sits at the repair npc with repair window open..

relogger is enough for me to use GB1

      fix for me

i have been botting on my dk and what i found was even with the macros that were posted in the forums, if the mob was behind me i would "start autoattack" but get "you are facing the wrong direction" errors and die after getting beat on from behind for a few minutes. i found a fix to this by combining my 6 and 7 macros like this

      #showtooltip
/castsequence reset=combat Bone Shield, Rune Strike, Vampiric Blood, Icebound Fortitude, Rune Strike, Rune Strike

then there is a setting in your keybinds that is called "interact with target" and set that to the # 6 and it basically clicks the ground under the target as if it were supposed to run to them but if it is behind you it will just turn around. i couldnt find any other way to resolve this until i found that keybind. now the only time that i die is with dismount in flight and fall to my death, and im still looking for a fix to this. hope this helps
