Your best bet is to just farm gold and buy one. You'll have to be an alchemist to transmute Vial of the Sands. you have to purchase a vial and sands of time in Uldum (you probably need to be exalted, a.k.a. do quests, then buy the tabard, and pve or pvp). You'll have to also farm the ingredients to transmute 12 truegold and the 3 flasks (lots of high end herbs and volatiles). So without buying, you will have to spend a nice chunk of gold, earn rep, and have Alchemy, and preferably Herbalism. I don't know about the other drakes, however.
Kick has got an amazing uldum questing profile out - havent used it as much as id of liked but will get rep up quick. Then buy tabard and run hc's and you're rep is sorted pronto.
idd, WTH are you guys talking about? The mount costs about 35k with your own mats and recipe, nothing else.
The recipe is extremely rare so expect to pay a few thousands for someone to craft it. And if your're horde, have a goblin buy the vendor mats, it saves you like 5k gold.
The Recipe Vial of Sands isn't that rare on my Server. I think you only have to collect the Mats and 30000 gold (29000 for the Mats in Uldum and 1000 as TG) You also could go exalted with Baradins Wardens (Tol Barad) and buy the Dragon of the Westwind. There is a Questprofile under Profiles Horde/80-85 and Alliance/80-85
Need to have alch on toon your doing the archeology on. The recipe is bop. I got it in my first canoptic far. No rep needed. to save gold on the vendor items have a goblin buy mats for ya. rest of mats can be farmed with bot. Ive made 3 mounts so far. 1 for me, 2 I gave away. another mount can farm via bot would be time lost proto. seen some profiles back in day using GB1 and mod like npcscan. just need to be close so when noise goes off you can kill him quick.
