Why the patch needs so long ?

I do not understand why it takes you more than a mounth to give the new HB releast post 7.3 where for exemple for the noob boot, they gave a solution after a week and made 5 diferents improvment since.

I preffer HB ans specialy tuant for dps routine and i can understand that for questing it is more complicate for you guy's (your product is more sofisticate) but why not give us a simple dps routine easy to releast for HB user so that they can continue to raid with their friends ? and a few weeks after the complete HB rebuild...

 

It's because of the security of the bot.. HB would be ready since a few days after the patch but it would be detected as soon as you start it. If you don't know blizzard has implemented a huge security update with path 7.3. Every other bot is, most likely, already detected.
It doesn't matter if you run BGs, farm 24/7, stand still with HB attached, or use a simple dps routine, as soon as you attach HB to WoW you can be detected and banned.

 

But the noob boot have the same difficulty than you guy's and they made it in a week i am playing with tem for 3 weeks know with no securitys issues.

You must understand that i am a fan of honnor buddy, it works better than the noob boot but the support seem's not in schedual.

 

From the forum of the bot you are talking about:
"We currently don't recommand anyone to bot on WoW 7.3.0 until further research are completed. Blizzard modified the game using their anti-cheat/bot framework (which they've been using on Overwatch for a while)."

So even the devs on the other bots knows it might be a very bad idea to bot atm..

 

Well it's ok that they made it in one week, but I would bet a lot to say that they have forgotten many security traps (or just ignored them) - unlike HB dev team.

 

You ever thought that MAYBE there is a reason they called it the "NOOB BOT"? Maybe it's because they attract NOOBS to use it and get them banned for not doing their due diligence with regards to security measures. Honestly the name of their bot threw me off to begin with. I was always wondering why THAT name. I know some will say "because even a noob can use it" but maybe there is another reason.

 

The Noob Bot is also about to close doors as they've already canceled their lifetime subscription due to the fact the bot owner can no longer guarantee the safety of their bot.
The Honorbuddy team is the only people who are actually making progress and are figuring this out.

You are using it for "3 weeks now" because detection bans aren't instant.
Blizzard collects data from the detection vectors and then runs a banwave when they see fit.
Could happen tomorrow, could happen today, could happen a month from now - you never know.

Detection bans are much different than normal bans as they usually only have a 6month suspension (multiplied by how many times you've been caught in a detection ban previously with the same account.)
And as I mentioned, they aren't instant nor do they happen randomly. Blizzard controls when the detected accounts are banned.

 

ok thanks for your answer, last year i was ban with honnor buddy while is was doint only world quest and assistance for dps during the raid (i control the move direction, honnor budy help me to dps).

I prefer honnor budy for sure it works better but i have had the opportunity to plays for 3 weeks now with the other boots without ban. May be i will be ban in the future (hoppe not) so we will see.

Anyway we all wait for honnor budy to come back.

Every boot have cancel their life time subscription (honnor budy did to).

 

No lifetime memberships is good. The HB team needs to make money somehow. And for combat routine just use

Its a half decent and cheap alternative for dps/tank routines. Its about the same as using singular. Custom CRs are much more efficient but it will do if you are lazy like me.
