Hey, just a quick questions, i was inactive for about one year in wow and HB i think. As the current security situation isnt the best i wanted to ask what you think of gathering etc on a second acc and sending the mats/gold to the main acc. Do you think blizz will monitor it if the second acc plays on another ip and is located on a bnet acc with another name?
Hello, As soon as you connect your account, from sending mats, gold, or whatever, you can be banned. Same on multiple WoW account, under the same Bnet account. Not directly for botting reason, but for economy abuse, for exemple.
I would use a second account as you are asking about, but instead i would make a low level on your main account, create a guild bank and have your bot in the guild and deposit to bank
You'd lose money by doing it from the AH cause TAXES. You'll never escape it hah. But the GB thing sounds like a good idea I'd go with that!
WOW, i gonna loose 5%, im gonna poor af.....no, seriously, if I put the mats in for like 5% of the price and instabuy them with my main there shouldnt be a problem.
I don't think there is a really good answer for how far Blizzard will dig into a bot accounts transactions, weather it be mail, GB, AH, trades, or even account transfer of toons. I will say that I don't think they look that heavily into the transactions, if they did gold farmers would not have been a thing as most folks who bought gold would have been banned. The understanding is they "can" ban all accounts connected. You are safer doing it that way, on a secondary account but you are not 100% if you transfer anything from that account to your primary. My suggestion would be this.... Farm up whatever you need, gold, mats, etc. Sit on it through one or even two ban-waves, if your alt account is not banned, then you would be safe to move the mats/gold/transfer characters over. This requires more patience than a lot of HB users have (based on the forums in the last month), but it's safer than the alternative.
