Anyone managed to get refund for wow subscription after getting banned? It's been less than 24 hours and they closed my accounts... just paid for month subscription.
In the mail, they wrote for what they closed the account? What did you do? Maybe it just s1 report you?
Had my bank charge back my sub time. All depends on who you bank with im guessing. Blizzard themselves told me no we can't refund. So I said screw them and had my bank do it lol
Fine with me Not sure why you think people care about video game accounts. Congrats! on Assuming that I care about losing a wow account.
I've gotten PayPal to refund subscription costs, tokens, and other services for banned and suspended accounts. Blizzard filed an initial response saying that I broke their rules, but after that they stopped responding, and PayPal sided with me. Go for it.
If its a fresh payment or purchase on account they might refund willingly. If not I fight it with paypal or bank. other wise older purchases older then a week I let them have it.
You're right, a sub-forum where people whine about getting caught cheating is totally not at all indicative of a sampling of players that actually care about their account.
yep, done it and won, say they falsely alleged cheating but refused to supply proof as none exists, so they took your money giving you nothing to show for it.
Generally wrong. In 99% of the time, they do not care or will just give you negative gametime, like you are -20days of gametime, so you need to resub those before able to login. Of course if you overuse this, could drag their attention and they act more harsh, but its unlikely, considering the mountain of refunds they face after banwave.
I can only speak anecdotally for the people that did a chargeback after getting caught in a botting related ban wave. They had all their bans go from temporary, to permanent after doing a chargeback 4 for subs, 3 for xpacs. All 7 were in the United States.
Not if you made it thru Paypal (in the last 1-2 years). All complaints vs Blizz were not defended by them, so automatically refunded. PP is US based company and I believe their policy do not vary much in diff. countries. I may be wrong ofc.
