Seems that disabling or not the TW at this event not helped much - seems all online on the TW event got flagged and banwaved later.
I botted up to 7.3 and then we waited for release...I was away 10/2 to 10/5 but only used bot 10/8 early afternoon til night but here is interesting part....First I played my test toon then said f it let me start leveling my main and ended night that way...the result..... Test acct banned... Main acct not banned I was away 10/9 until last night and was watching the ban reports then got my ban. I was scared shitless because I have a decent main acct. Thankfully only my test acct. So I was lucky. Others not so much.
i Bot again with other account and atm get no ban i dont know why is Soapbox roations going down and type Omega is Offline hmmm only HB is still On and up to date i wait for the next ban i hope can get play longer when not i dont play WOW anymore to much time needs to much money and i dont investigate more time moeny in that Game.
I'm botting, only on a $10 battlechest account though. Made some decent gold in less than a day already.
Put your money where your mouth is and have every spell macro /yell "I AM A BOT" to show you don't care about bans, then run them on all of your accounts. If you don't do this, then you do in fact want to avoid bans and can see his point. The anger isn't the ban, it's the state of the back to back compromises and the posts from devs stating "it is undetected" prior to that. "Get over it bans happen" is just trying to be edgy and disregards the real issue at hand. Side note, Love your products
I do care for bans, indeed. I just said to the drama queen that if he cannot accept the ban, the botting is not for him. Anyone of us, which attach bots to our accounts must prepare to be obliterated, sooner or later. Of course its better if its later - like we had decent timewindow of no-banwaves between 1st Feb and 13th Oct ~ 8 and 1/2 months. But even if its shorter, we should have the balls to face it. I personally got a painful random ban just 2 days after 1st Feb banwave, but I have not cried the forums out of it, right?
You cry about other people crying on the forums though ! I was one of the lucky ones, came back to wow, played for a week manually, decided to try honorbuddy and was banned the next day. I can see the frustration of this new situation, however, if the past 2 versions truly had a 15 hour vulnerability prior to tripwire... AFTER the "undetected" post, then there is reason to be mad. Getting banned is like anything in life really... It's like driving a car, sometimes you get into wrecks... sometimes people die. Nobody wins by telling people in those situations it was their choice to drive... of course it was! There is risk in everything in life, but risk does not negate the pain of loss It is interesting though, Blizzard has come a long way in their war against "cheaters". And to celebrate they add more and more grindy crap (ap/legendary rng/mythic+) as if to bait out "cheaters"... I dislike it, but I'm clearly not their target demographic with those changes.
People already "refined" their moves - several key elements are stacking nowadays: - First its the Blizzcon upfront - Then Black Friday is around the corner as well - Plus they seems to start new kind of e-peen competitive gameplay with those Mythic Invitationals, trying to make Esport from WoW - https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/esports With those, they would try their best to moderate botting further more - not only with all-around bots like Honorbuddy, but with rotation-only ones as well, which could directly inflate their e-sports. For example SBR just shutted down yesterday after several years of operation, leaving a huge vacuum into the rotation-only bots.
At what point is it going to be pointless in your opinion. once a month , Once a week , Once a day , once an hour , Every second ? If we say okay i can deal with a ban every 6 months and they start happening every 3 months and we say okay i can take the hit once every 3 months and so on ect... do you have faith that HB can go undetected longer then a few days now ?
Faith means nothing, only their skills count here. If they are skilled and lucky enough to secure us another relaxed timeframe of botting, we will be happy, until then - its pain Btw last window was 8 and half months, previous ones were incredibly short - 2-3 months each. The truth is, I would not bet for another 8 months of relax, but thats the game of mice and cat.
Well you are working for HB , ofc you were going to say " my acc survived " and even IF is real how can we believe you considering you have all interests to say that anyways =)) ?
The problem is not to take ban, is to know that we have no concrete answer from the developers, the only answer is "we are working" we are working the fucking, when we decided to use the bot we know the risks, but we thought that there would be someone behind which we paid and expensive to solve this type of problem and give us some clarification and not be arguing with the players in the forums. HB shit
I'm not sure why people still live in the undetectable land. WOW is old, memory storage is cheap. Logs are small. By now blizzard should already have logs on all the bot rotation, route, ect. All blizzard needs to do is compare your log against the bot logs. Bam, you are flagged for more milking. If you believe that blizzard can't afford to higher a team to write an AI to learn how to detect bots, I don't know what to say to you. Anyway, it dissen't matter how good HB team is at their job. The simple fact is there are too much data on bot behaviors. If you want to argue that it's different then HB been detected. Please note, without routines or profiles HB can't do a thing.
Do you realize that any clarification regarding the bans means Blizzard will know what HB team have discovered/researched regarding Blizzard detection methods. Plus we are customers, we have only one task - to bot what we like to, even if we knows the whole picture, we cant do shit against Blizzard anti-bot methods (Unless we do not bot ofc ) The buddy team's task is to protect their customers off Blizzard detection attempts. TLDR: No matter how detailed, blurred or single-word answer buddy team gives us, we cant change anything, we either decide to bot or not to bot.
My account survived, first time too (already lost 3) I am not botting however, not because i'm afraid to lose the account (already lost 3, so meh) but I have no need for gold anymore and since this particular account has managed to jump around every banwave this past week I find myself getting attached lol, Im going to wait a solid 4 weeks or so, just because every time its "not detectable" again within 2 hours there's trouble. PSA while i'm at it! - When xmas rolls around and WoW gets ridiculous discounts just buy 4-5 accounts and you're good for the year for the cost of 1 normal priced.
