Called it when you revoked lifetime licenses and what was it Tony said.. "come and see us in 6 months" well im here and you're closing the doors... So I guess that smug attitude didn't get you that far after all...

That being said it's the end of an era looks like nothing is safe from blizzard anymore and if they turn to out of process solutions that's the end... I did save myself a lot of time over the years using Honorbuddy but removing lifetime for the last few months of your life doesn't look that great..

I mean, bossland has been lying about HB being 'undetectable' and 'relatively safe' for a few years, sitting back- collecting money all the while convincing people Blizzard is evil and actually spying on you.

I mean- it's pretty comical really.

seriously? that's been the position forever. the exact reason HB is named Honorbuddy.exe and simply runs as a program named HONORBUDDY. no obfuscation for the binary, no random name.

Hiding "The Honorbuddy" from "The Warden" - "there is no reason to hide HB process" - Tony

that being said today's claim "sending back window titles of any window on the computer" seems directly against their Anti Cheating Agreement EULA and US / EU laws. not sure why bossland's decided to state that lol.

      How blizzard detects bots

Blizz scans now windows process list.

Warden scans RAM and ALL OPEN processes?

The right thing to do would be to release HB code publically Open source and let someone else carry on the dream.

I don't understand if you mean hearthbuddy(for playing hearthstone not WoW) is to be discontinued because it still seems to be for sale.

It's interesting, you say Bossland is claiming all of this, but, low and behold, others decided to "spy on the spy" and confirmed that Blizzard, was doing just that. The lack of actual defense, in Blizzard's response only fuels that fire.

Doing that only sewers the possibility of it being worked on properly by this community in future and I honestly fail to see how a paid for program, that someone else made, is only right if its freely released to the public for others to profit off of, no offense meant of course. I kinda see it like saying, well even though you personally paid for a car that you drove people around in, since your not driving it right now, you should give it away to the people you drove for free (doesn't seem fair now does it?) Again no disrespect meant.
If you read a bit more into the articles i linked, it would show that you misquoted the circumstances, where no one claims it reads and sends it back (though it could be done, which is where the outrage for some is) but that it scans that data and then sends back hashes to cross check from blacklisted hashes. More or less doing the same thing, but not full view to an employee there.
I dont see how our personal decision to stop Honorbuddy for now (despite it being one of the bigger money makers) relates to your "prediction" based on the cancellation of lifetime subscriptions. I mean yeah, it sucked, maybe you feel Tony was rude about it, but given the sad ending of what regardless was a pretty intense era. I don't see the relevance, and it really seems like you taking a cheap kick at a "man" when he's "down" in an almost smug approach, which is the same thing you accuse Tony.

All in all, putting aside the ignorant people who just come here to troll and jeer, for many of us, this is a sad day, staff and community alike. I never personally worked on the HB team, but I was an active customer for sure, and for those of you who read this thread, without the intent of being trolls, or flat out ignorant. Might I say, its been an honor being a part of a community with you. To the community devs, thank you, sincerely from the bottom of mine and many others hearts, to the Core Team, thank you for sticking through it as long as you have, it truly has been one hell of a ride.

This is the day, World of Warcraft has died. All that't left now, are the last remaining gold farmers, a few decent legits, some elitist asshats, and the Blizzard team. GG, Blizz, you shot yourself, GG.
