Plesase rethink the futute of buddywing, its a great little bot that has no ban rates that im aware of, all it needs is some attention to fix some bugs.
Swtor seems to be on the up at the moment too, so why not keep it running and just up the price on subscriptions to cover the costs of the mesh server ect.
I and others have spent countless hours tweaking writing combat routines ect, it would be a great shame to see everyones hard work go up in smoke.
Please put some devs back on the project, buddywing has the protential to be a fantastic bot with a little work. :(

Damn. Was looking to return to WoW and start up some botting but just saw this announcement.

It's been a good run! Thanks for all the everything you've done HB. My account wouldn't even be close to where it is today if it weren't for this service.

      R.I.P.

No matter what Blizzard can claim or pretend to accomplish i can honestly say for myself and i am sure that a lot of people agree that the buddy was the only thing that made me keep on playing Wow , i never abused of the bot never used it for pvp purpose to be BETTER or just to ruin the economy like so many mouths claim i just used it to make the game fun again and less demanding(specially on my already damaged carpal tunnel ) without ruining in any way the game for others on the contrary i can say that with it i helped lots of people to enjoy more their experience in game
With that said long live the buddy no matter what

With the death of this bot, I can surely see the quick demise of this game. It's a toxic environment to actually play by hand, even if your just using rotations.

I couldn't see anyone actually wanting to actually progress in a weird storyline that seems so obvious it just a time sink to capture monthly sub $. Look at flying in the last 2 xpacs. Weeks of rep farming to gain it. Dumb!

Casual play is still horrible as well. Even with legendaries and heirlooms and a great rotation, trying to heal or even keep up with asshole groups is enough to make me break my diet and eat back bacon and drink the grease form the pan just to stay sane. Fuck you blizzard this cowboy is done bitch.

Even more unsettling is I recently learned @Gav packed it in, but that’s ok because I also learned @gavzta has been two faced to me anyway. So no great loss

Started botting with Glider, then Omegabot, and finally Honorbuddy. Must have been doing this for at least ten years now, lost many accounts, don't regret a single bit of it. Something will replace Honorbuddy and the trend will continue.

I want to give a big thank you to the Honorbuddy team and all the folks that took time to build rotations, gathering and leveling profiles, all of you out there. Came up with ways to allow us to grind out gold and reputation while at work so we could come home and enjoy the real stuff like raiding and pvp.

Thank you so much for everything, it has been a fantastic ride while it lasted. I'm sure I'll see quite a few of your names on the next bot forum, wherever that may be

@Tony does the invasive scanning from blizz mean that me using hearthbuddy has an elevated chance if being caught? Or am I still safe in till they implement it?

Can't you just find a country where the laws would benefit and protect Honorbuddy and such activities?

An international law firm could tell you that probably!

      Tony,

If someone was using an old hacked HB on a private server, and had retail up at the same time. Would retail see HB and flag the retail account for ban?

      Asking for a friend

Anyone else notice that with the latest update to Battle.net app the option to launch WoW as 32 bit was removed?
