There was no announcement for rebornbuddy made. To quote the post you linked "We are changing all existing Demonbuddy and Honorbuddy Lifetime licenses to expire after 2 years of usage." Where does it say those changes are being made to Rebornbuddy? Nowhere in the thread. We should have gotten an announcement that those changes were going to be impacting this bot as well.
Yeah that thread did not mention rebornbuddy at all, it mentioned hearthbuddy, and honorbuddy Tony. Neither of those contain the word Reborn.
This wont end well lol but ya, theres no mention of RB anywhere in those threads. When this all went down, lots of outside projects were put on hold until mashtag was able to sort out what the future of RB was, and there was never a word said about keys expiring.
Yeah, I have a lifetime key. But, I also pay for my fiancee's monthly key. The lack of notice is making me think I should rethink that.
I got my money's worth of my original purchase, so I won't do a charge-back as folks have mentioned. But if this is true--it's a complete dick move. I was told it was a lifetime key, and then when they grandfathered us in it said like 7 years? Anyways, I enjoyed it while it lasted. But if it's really over. I'll either just quit for find another alternative.
First Saga with his web, now removing lifetime, lack of a lot of things since... forever. I think I'm off about Buddy bots guys, it was a long ride, thx Y2 for your work!
Yeah I’m done with buddybot bullshit as well, MMOminion has the same product that has more features than this bot for only £6.
This article does not mention the reborn bot, lifetime is lifetime, if you make a change, everyone who bought the original key, deserve to be warned with a good time, this thead talks about the others, but in no time talks about the Rebornbot.
You are correct. We didn't even get a week. That's a developer that doesn't care about the customer base. Yes, my lifetime key isn't generating you money. Though, how many other people have I pushed to the bot? That's what you need to realize you can lose.
I don't care if there was or wasn't a warning. I paid for a lifetime membership. I should get a lifetime membership. The bot itself almost does NOTHING by itself unless you are a programmer. The only free thing that is any good is Shinra. The bot can't even come with a good combat routine. This is bull shit, and I will not be purchasing anything from buddy any longer. I was never a fan of the monthly subscription, but especially for this bot since it gives you nothing useful. I purchased a year license for my alt, because I was alright with it since it was advertised to me as a year licesne. However to take away my lifetime license that was advertised to me as lifetime is bull. F this company. I had planned to renew my yearly subscriptoin for my second key, but not any longer. I'll take my business else where. Edit: I agree with Mystics reply below that Mashtag and the Buddy people aren't the same people. However that doesn't change my opinions above. Thank you Mashtag for working with other developers and everything else you have done. F the bossland company and this decision.
I'm done with Rebornbuddy, this is beyond scummy. You barely support the bot at all and expect a monthly fee that high when the only reason people use your awful bot is because of Lisbeth.
And the developer of Lisbeth has respected my lifetime key, I can run two bots off the same purchase for both it and Agile.
Nonono.... Many devs of the CRs and even Profiles for seasonal content, beast tribes etc. All good stuff. Its NOT just lisbeth.
And guys.. I ask you wait for Mas to post his thoughts on things before bashing... bossland isnt the same as Mastahg....
