Greetings! So I've been running a lot of instancebuddy since buying honorbuddy. And I figured, why not automate rep grinding in the same process? I noticed that if you're running ib quite a bit, your rep will be exalted fairly quickly, so I devised this plugin. What it does: Detects the rep level of the tabard you're currently wearing (if it has one). If it's exalted for that rep, it scans through your bags looking for a new tabard that you are NOT exalted with and equips that tabard (in no particular order of faction) This works for: All racial factions (org, ironforge, undercity, etc) Most wrath factions (kirin tor, etc) All cata factions All you need to do is load it up, and make sure you have tabards in your bag! I would only put tabards that give rep in instances just to avoid bugs/confusion, but it should handle it fine either way. Please report bugs in this thread and I will try to get to them! I have done most basic testing, and it seems to work pretty well as-is. ToDo: Prioritized list (generic?) of factions to grind out in order.
THANK you! I've had this on my 'to do' list for quite a while. Now, I can scratch it off. One request... Can you make sure the Exalted is 999/1000 before making the decision to switch. Since the rep has moved so far, might as well fill the bar--it looks more 'human like' if the toon gets armoried. thanks again! chinajade
I will have to look into that. I'm not sure how to pull the actual rep amount acquired. For now, one way would be to just increase the pulse time to say an hour, when you're more than likely to have run an instance or two since last checking your reputation level for the current tabard.
Hey Boogieman, I know it's kinda offtopic, but since you have experience, what Cata dungeons work best with IB?
Been running this all day. 3 factions exalted so far with it completely hands off New version coming soon with basic priority (newest reps first); this should also include a specific priority that the user can set.
Is it possible to modify this CC to have tabard uneqip back to bag when not in heroic dungeon, say.. because now with Transmog I find wearing some of these ugly rep tabards unappealing. I would be nice if it auto-eqiped the tabard when detects you're in dungeon and removes it when you leave it.
No idea why this isn't getting more love, because with the influx of dungeon trash farming profiles, this plugin is beautiful. It does exactly what it says it will. The only thing I'd love to see it do is check the rep for the tabards in your bag, and wear the one closest to exalted. That being said, I don't mind that it has no logic for which one it wears. It would just be a cool perk. +rep
