Not making any gold

Hey guys. Just wondering if you think i should change server with my botting character? I find it very hard to make any high amount of gold using gatherbuddy. All the prices for Whiptail, cinderbloom are VERY low. They sell for like 20-25g per stack. That's pretty low, right?

Prices have been dropping, at least on my realm. Cinderbloom is at 40 to 50g or so and Whiptail 60g or so. It is up and down depending on how many farmers are flooding the marketplace at any given moment. Soon you will find it drop on all realms I think, the same as with every other expansion. If you are making gold to sell then a transfer may be in order, though it may be easier to just make a new death knight and level him up real quick and have two botting characters. If you are making gold to support your main(s) then you are looking at moving house completely and that would be costly. I prefer the new toon idea just because it is easy to level from 55 to 80 on a DK once you’re out of the start zone and from 80 to 85 you can level using xp from herb and mine alone. Just my two cents.

 

active populations on the 3-4 servers I play are dropping overall - affecting economy as well. I think people are already getting bored of new expansion/content

 

I have been able to sell 64 stacks of elementium ore a day.. for 50g per stack
while still selling about 80 of the volatile earth, water, and fire.. for 10g each..
this is daily but now I'm starting to notice my impact on prices on my server..

 

chinese .. they stopped buying and brought in the farmers

 

I've been struggling to sell twilight jasmine for 50-60g, elementium ore for 30-40g, cinderbloom between 15-25g.

I turned to using a profile to farm volatiles etc.

Another alternative may be to either sell lower level mats such as knothhide leather or different varietys of herbs/ore to catch the lazzy foggers levelling there professions willing to spend a few dollars.

Even archeology is still (decent) for some gold. It's all about finding out the pro's and cons of you're server i guess and working around the obstacles.

Everything one my server is at rock bottom it would seem the gold run is over and I didnt get to cash in on it too much some of the prices you guys said for herbs and ore are double what my server is getting oh well free tansfer time lol

 

i just talked with one of those chinese...he offered me 0.3/k...he and all his fucking brothers can go to hell.

nope. i can sell a stack of 200 for ~3000g on my server

and i farm 24/7 on my drood

and play on my 2nd account

 

i checked my chinese connect and he told me 0.77

 

Yea 40k in like 2 weeks maybe haha Takes awhile to get stack of 200 fire/earths/waters

 

With this new profession buddy I'd be buying up stacks of elementium under 50g, just automate the prospecting, cut green gems and vendor, ah the blues. It's not huge profits but when you get it all automated, it's free money. Now doing all that by hand, I'd rather jump off a cliff.

 

If it takes you 2 weeks to make 40k, you're doing something very, very wrong.

 

Damn that sucks, I fill up my bags with herb and bars and throw them on AH and make at least 7k gold. I love my server it's easy to make 20k in a full day of farming

 

You can focus on elementium ore. After prospected / cut / vendored, you get about 60g/stack without any AH.
