are you sure that is better to find the sword to not blacklisted any of the other races? if you concentrate in troll stuff you have nore possibilities of getting the sword no? example> 4 disgsites 1 trolll 3 any , the 3 are blacklisted and the bot go to trol all the time, if the 4 are blacklisted the bot will go to the closest but if in the next search there are again a troll you wil have again more troll fragment. its a theory of course )
If you blacklist all but troll, you may for instance fly all the way from EPL down to STV only to fly back up to get the other once there, and all of those dig sites on your map will eventually have to be digged, because none dissapairs. Edit: Also since this is a success poster I will have to post my update xD : I got the tol'vir ring, sword and summon scarab pets after 24 solves of tol'vir, I have 222 troll solves, no sword, 140 NE solves and the trinket, 180 dwarf solved no staff and pretty much all the other useless rares apart from one draenei one.
im gonna test with the addon , 3 hours blacklisted races and 3 hours without blacklisted any race and i will post the results soon.
70-85? Can you really train : Archaeology from 70-85 with much problems? some feedback from whose tried or succeeded please
You can, I did it kind of with my mage, you will need 280% for being enough xp/h, also I did some quests in lvl 80-85 for some gear, and I did instances from 70-85
If someone should be interested in how many solves it took me from 70 to 80 then here they are. Took apox 3 days from 7 in the morning to 7 in the night Dwarf: 62 Fossil: 44 Night Elf: 8 Nerubian:3 Troll: 101 Total solves: 218
Used Archbuddy for around 16-20 hrs so far and got to 525 of course. But I got also some nice stuff like the Skeletal Raptor, fossil raptor pet, boys emperor ring and most important tge recipe for vial of the sand xD Gonna use it for my twink to level from 70 to 85. Let's see how it works
I currently have about 7 days /played just doing archeology and I've got the ring and the Tol'vir 1H sword (the last one utterly useless as I only play casters ). It's getting a little frustrating as I want the trinket and the staves (duh!) and they just won't queue But I will persevere! If nothing else I at least get some nice gold from the crap. About 2k gold per 8 hours of Archology. Not nearly as good as gathering but a lot less danger of being spotted
I got the doll 3 times the ring twice but still no staff or zinlol the pwn which sucks but i guess the fact i have leveled 4 chars from more or less just Arch is nice
Just got my pattern for vial of sands shame I already bought one for all my mains from farmed gold, oh well.
Finally got my Scepter of Azj'Aqir today as my 56th solve and 3rd Tol'Vir rare (ring and the stupid scarab thing). Also got Zin'Rokh as 12th troll solve, even tho it's quite useless for me on this server, as I only have casters there
After trying for the Azj'Aqir scepter and stopping at about 70 solves without getting it, I decided to switch characters and play my dk as my main. Been farming Zin'Rokh, currently on 239 troll solves and nothing. No dwarf staff either at 208 solves. The shit of it is, I got the trinket on my hunter which is totally useless for me. Then I got it again on my dk as my third night elf solve -.- I let my friend use one of my sessions to farm the staff, he got the sword on his 97th troll solve. He doesn't even have a character he can use it on. FU rng
Iv'e noticed a huge amount of tablets in my bag in these days, got around 60+ of troll/fossil. Did blizz increase it or something?
Going to ask, can you find Zin'Rokh capped at 450/450 in archeology or do you have to train further to find it? I ask as I have seen conflicting reports, some say yes, others say no. I have a few toons I am leveling using Archeology but I have left them capped at 450. I am told that leaving them capped will keep Cata sites from opening up when they hit lvl 80 making it easier/faster to level. Anyone know if that is also true? Thanks for any help you can give.
As soon as you hit 450, you are able to get any of the rares but cata sites also open. You might aswell get the next rank.
