These programs provide character benefits normally not achievable in the World of Warcraft. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. Use of these unauthorized programs harm the game environment because they offer an unfair advantage over other players and superscede the intended limits of the game. Even if this behavior is the result of a third party accessing the account instead of the registered user (for example, a friend, family member, or leveling service) then the account can still be held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game environment. We've found the above behavior is many times directly related to groups responsible for compromising World of Warcraft accounts; we take these issues very seriously. To better understand our position against exploitative activity and the risks involved, please review this article: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/basics/antigold.html The exploitative activity that took place on this account violates the World of Warcraft Terms of Use. We ask you take a moment to review these terms at http://us.blizzard.com/company/legal/index.html. Note that additional Terms of Use violations may result in more severe actions against this account, up to and including permanent closure. For any disputes of this action or further information on Exploitive Activity, please visit the Exploitative Activity FAQ and contact page here: http://us.blizzard.com/support/article/exploitfaq Regards, Customer Services Blizzard Entertainment http://us.battle.net/wow/en/ _______________________________________________ Woke up about an hour after I was temporary banned. I did not use any "hacks" such as teleporting, speed hacking, or barrier breaking. I'm mainly posting this here to see what others think of this. I don't use honorbuddy a lot, 4 to 5 hours a day at most. Are they starting to use the word "hacks" instead of "botting" now? And I thought that if you were botting and caught, it was a straight up perma banned. Anyways, I hope this information helps people out. I've been using Honor buddy every day since late November, with some days break in between, and this is the only issue I've had with it. Also, would it be worth it to call blizzard? Or a waste of time?
Contest it. 72 hr or not, I would contest that as you've stated you didn't use any. Blah blah, I don't use hacks, I was just playing lowsy and idiots reported me to get rid of me and it's stupid and I want my account back. So many people say don't contest 72hrs but that's a markon the account, if you CAN get it lifted, I say you should .
