ok i am playing with my priest and i stink at healign so i thought ... i know lets use honorbuddy.. so i load this up and i still stink ... tried the dif custom classes doesnt matter either i am out of mana to fast or walking into flames to heal someone and cant move... etc. etc. anyone help me with a decent cc and setup that will work for a lvl 85 holy priest as a healer?? or maybe addons and settings i am not particular just wanna know what you use. ty in advance
What are you trying to heal? If raids, there's barely any classes supported (only shamans i think?) and even with those you can't just do nothing
even heroics would be nice ,,, and i always watch it and like to do the walking myself (mr.autofight)
Most, if not all, cata dungeons are not supported for healing/tanking - don't hang me up on it tho, because im not sure
Do you know a lot about the class? I'd have a look down at Elitist Jerks.com and see if you can find a 4.0.6 Priest Healing Guide.. It will tell you the gems, gear, enchants rotation and glyphs you need as mana is so precious in cataclysm. My druid mainly now during heroics only casts, nourish, lifebloom, rejuve wild growth and healing touch because regrowth is just too expensive..
You have to avoid using flash heal as much as possible and just have to get some better gear, everything you have should have spirit on it. when I first got my priest to 85 I was pissed cause I couldnt heal anything, but I qued as dps till I got enough healing gear with justice points/drops and then it got a lot better. I would say for heroics you should have more then 2800-3200 out of combat mana regen and more than 75k mana and you should be fine, anything lower you might have trouble.
