So I found out my guildie was buying gold for ridiculous prices online, so I offered him a better price and he bought 10k for $13 from me. Turns out some other guildies of mine may be interested as well.

This is more than I could have hoped, as I don't really trust gold buying sites too much and never planned to sell gold in the first place. Thanks HB :D

if only my guildies would sell me gold :l 50k for 90? seems costly! I buy 50k a time at ?48 from a gold webby, although sometimes i pay more.. prices go up and down all the time

Wow that's a lot. Are EU gold prices on sites more expensive? I was just undercutting what other sites were selling at on my server by about $3 total.

Nah, I don't think EU is any better than US. :3
It's not about the server. It's about to who you sell. :p
Private buyers always pay you quite well.

I sold 100k of my hard earned (non-botted) gold to a friend once, he was going to give ?100 to the chinese farmers and i stepped in just to make sure they didnt get paid because frankly i dont like them being rewarded for hassling me with gold spam or for hacking accounts, i knocked him 20% off what he was going to pay and got ?80 for my trouble

He farmed archeology up to 525 by hand and it made him sick of messing about with blizzards RNG crap to the point where he just never wanted to do any profession stuff or farming again, hence he wanted to buy gold to avoid it

I used his cash to buy myself a copy of HB to level my own arch, im a bit OCD about leaving things like professions unleveled so it was driving me nuts that it wasnt done.. at the same time there was no way in hell I was going to do those endless hours of soul crushing grinding. Had blizzard not introduced archeology i would still be one of those players that was far too honest to bot but... there aint no going back *evil grin*
