Hey guys I want to buy some laptop for botting and other stuff, I know that desktop would be better and cheaper but I want laptop. I found one that im interested in and want to ask how many GB's could I run on it ? Processor: Intel? Core i7 2630QM 2Ghz (Turbo 2.9G)/6M Memory: 8GB DDR3-1333MHz (4 DIMM Max 16GB) Video: 1GB DDR3 NVIDIA? GT540M Storage: 640GB 5400rpm
for running a bot/wow you will not need high end graphics, just use /console maxfps 30 or even lower number, and it will save you resources. If running more than several WoWs, then just lower the window size.
Ive got asus N53S Core i5 2410M(2.3)/3072/500/T540M month ago - tested 5 clients at once - working nice =)
A laptop is not made to play games 24/7. It will get hot as shit and it will eventually break down and clog with dust due to the fans working 24/7. Invest in a desktop.
i think like this will be nice for botting 24/7 at 5-10 wow, the main advantage - it will be quiet: Power Supply Corsair 650TX/750HX CPU Intel i7-2600k Heatsink Thermaltake Frio Motherboard ASUS P8P67-M PRO Memory 8GB G.Skill DDR3 12800 - $100 Graphics Card EVGA GTX 560 Ti Hard Drive Western Digital 1TB Caviar Black
Some of us have no choice. I spend 330 days a year on the road playing from hotels Currently running this rig : Amazon.com: Gateway P-7809U FX 17"/4GB/500GB/NVIDIA 9800M GTS FX SERIES NOTEBOOK: Computer & Accessories Does get hot, but keep it running on a Amazon.com: Cooler Master Notepal U2 Notebook Cooler with Two Fans R9-NBC-8PBK-GP: Computer & Accessories and it works. Most I ever had was 4 instances up at once.
