So i was botting on one of my accounts and this guy keeps msging me calling me a botter and what not, he reported me and got me 72 hr suspension, stopped for 2 weeks and startred again he mustve added me to his friends list cuz he msgs me and asks me if i just got unbanned,, botted for a few dews, then got another 72 hr suspension my question is, how many suspensions can one account have before its banned? what should i do in this situation? thanks in advanced!
In general a 72h ban is your "final warning" Sometimes you'll be lucky and get away with 2 but i'd be very cautious now if you want to hang on to the account
i was thinking the name change or server change route.. i know server change will get rid of him for sure but i have to pay...
It will cost alot less for a server change than it will for a new account. Seems like the guy has it in for you. You should get a few mates to report him for botting too, as chances are you was botting where he wanted to bot
Change server.I had the same thing.. had 2 72hours in 2weeks.. changed servers - 4 month without a singe ban.. ^^ better to change server than buy a new acc
Changing your name won't help, as if he has added you to a friend's list, then that will update on their end. Your two options are to either faction change or server transfer.
report the SoB for botting like 2/3 times a day and get some help from a couple of your friends seems liek this guy is an major asshole
thank you for all of your great wisdom! i have decided to change servers. LONG LIVE BOTTING MUDA PHUKAS!!!
If you like the server just spend the time to level a new bot on that account. few days of downtime is much better than losing the account. I have 2 bot accounts with 4 85's on each account that I rotate out daily so the names aren't always in my gathering areas. Sure it may be overkill but its a small/tiny level of protection. (protection may not be the right word but you know what I mean)
If you are flagged for suspicious activity, do you really think you are going to throw off blizz by transferring/name changing? Looks even more suspicious imo. If you're a felon in Arizona and move to California and change your name from Bob to Mike, they are still going to know your a felon. "Hey isn't that Bob, the guy who raped all those kids?" "No, hes Mike now, he doesn't do stuff like that anymore." "Oh, okay derpa derpa."
