I wasn't playing back in the day of glider so I never used it. How did it work? Was it something like pirox where it used a waypoint system?
I think that is what glider used, I remember it was quite easy to make your own profile. They had a button you would click that would start mapping, and you would run in a loop or circle and then click stop, the bot would then run that path and kill any monsters within a certain distance of your path. To do attacks, or cast spells, there was a certain spot in each bar where the ability had to be depending on which class you were using, and if the ability wasn't in that exact spot it wasn't used. Glider its self was pretty basic, but when you combined it with ppather it became amazing.
Glider did eventually put in spell detection, so you would put your spells on a bar and it would use them. You didn't have to put them in specific spots. PPather is what glider so good, it was a bot that learned.
dude PPAther was the best bot/bot plug in that has ever been on the market. the bot litteraly LEARNED what your character did and how it reacted and NPC's and mobs and quests.. so amazing
I used glider for a little over a year before they lost the law suit and it did use way points and yes PPather was AMAZING!!!! back then all I did was pvp so when your bot would run it's own route that it decided differently each time it was great. No more bans for 4 ppl running and stopping at the exact same points for the exact same amounts of time all perfectly synchronized lol.
