I've recently started running several bots on questing profiles (Kaz 1-60). All of them seem to have a mad issue when vendoring all their bags, if there's quest items in there they will get stuck at the vendor spamming "Merchant doesn't want that item" (Presumably since it's trying to vendor quest items as well). This will end up in some kind of infinite loop where my chars will just stand there. I've heard some recommendations of lootfilter, but i cannot figure out how to set it up. I've setup a rule which deletes quest items, problem is that it will delete them as soon as they're looted (meaning you'll get stuck at quests where you have to gather x of [item] since lootfilter keeps deleting them.) I havnt found any other solution on the forums, hope some of you might have an answer. PS: no, protectitems isn't an option since you'll never know what quest item it'll try to vendor. Thanks!
Maybe try turning off vendoring in honorbuddy. Then use lootfilter to delete all greys and whites but to keep quest items. Your bags should never get full enough for honorbuddy to have to sell. Haven't done it myself, but it's an idea. You won't get gold from this obviously, but tbh 1-60 greys aren't going to make you rich anyway.
Unfortunatly that's not really an option. When starting characters on new servers they have to vendor in order to be able to train skills, mounts, bags, etc. Simply not vendoring won't work. Actually i'm quite surprised this isn't a more common problem, i can only find a hand full of threads related to this issue; none of which have been fully answered. On a sidenote; HB also doesn't sell anything with green quality or better, is there a setting somewhere i need to change (i just want it to vendor all, except for epics perhaps)?
Mine works perfectly, it does spamm "Vendor dosn?t want that item" but only once /item, why your loop i don?t know, try to redownload HB and install questhelpers from kicks blog. And on the sell green stuff edit the profile.xml there is a setting near the top looking like this <MailGrey>False</MailGrey> <MailWhite>True</MailWhite> <MailGreen>True</MailGreen> <MailBlue>True</MailBlue> <MailPurple>True</MailPurple> <SellGrey>True</SellGrey> <SellWhite>True</SellWhite> <SellGreen>True</SellGreen> <SellBlue>False</SellBlue> <SellPurple>False</SellPurple> To sell green it must be true.
