I bot to reduce the eye-gouging grind it takes to get to 85. I've done the 1-75+ grind manually on 9/10 of the classes... but I digress. I want to do (manual) arenas with my new Shammy. I just got a rSham up to 85 and have my boe blue resil gear. I watched a few BG bot profiles running and they were solid, but not great. I use ShamWoW CC, and BGRequeue2 and Squire for the supported BGs but i'm not comfortable leaving it afk yet like i do for certain farming/archy/leveling. I understand that pvp botting can be more risky because, by nature, other people are going to be around watching you. I'm guessing the 40m ones are better to get lost in the crowd with, but I wanted to know what seems to work well for honor grinding for you. 1) What Class and CC works well? (I hear ShamWoW is one of the best for BGs) 2) What Plugins do you recommend for it? 3) What BGs work best for you? 4) Do you focus on CfA weekend BG/rand/specific ones? 5) Are you comfortable with leaving your toon afk honor grinding in any of these? I've BGBotted 3 characters to honor cap (19-24k honor). I use BQRequeue2, AutoPrecision, TrinketRacial and Jumpy, I highly recommend you to do the same. Classes I've done it on is Druid, Paladin and Rogue. CCs used is Ensemble for Druid, FPSRogue for Rogue and Convalesce for Paladin. If your class can heal I recommend you to use heal specc in BGs as this looks less detectable to me. Make sure you change the CCs to look less bottish in BGs, for e.g I changed all my CCs to eat/drink only at 1% mana/hp, if you keep it at say 40% you're gonna see a Rogue run into a pack of 5 alliance, get raped, vanish at 5%, step away 20 yards and sit down to eat, it's retarded, not to recommend. What else, I've actually gone around 100h straight on all characters, but I do not recommend that, imo go 16h followed by 8h offline, or 24h followed by 12h offline, and that's pushing it. I always do "random BG", on the off chance you get AV that isn't fully supported, you can manually leave or just stay in it, I've never had a problem tbh.
BG Bot Beta, but it is pretty awful. You will probably want to customize your CC so that it doesn't look like all the other bots. My character is a Rogue and I set it up so that he is always in stealth. Always being in stealth helps keep him alive and looks significantly less botish. Before he would run up to an enemy and then stealth, and that was pretty dumb. Also whatever you do, do not use that Auto-Follow plugin. There are problems with the BG Beta Bot. For example, in Isle of Conquest the bot will try to use the teleporters at the enemies side, and it will do other stupid crap like using the teleporters even when the gates are down. You can easily see who are the bots because they'll all sit in the exact same spots. The bot is not too bad in Arathi Basin and Warsong gultch. Honestly I wish they'd just make the BG bot a plugin so I could edit it.
