Hello, I am unable to use HonorBuddy AT ALL. Everytime i click the .exe, an error message pops up saying "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation". I've looked at the Wiki, installed and reinstalled .Net 3.5 but to no avail. Put it in Administrative Mode, Ran with Compat too. What should i do now?

First, off what version of windows are you running?
Second, you need to post your log as an attachment so that the community can better assist you.

Windows 7. As I said, the error message pops out when i double click the HB.exe. Therefore I have NEVER seen the UI of the HB buddy or anything. No error logs are even generated lol.

First of all uninstall .Net 3.5 completely. With windows 7 it works perfect with .net 4.0, try that then let's us know if that helps.

Done that, in fact I uninstalled .Net 3.5 and 4.0 totally TWICE using the wiper programme included in the Wiki. Even after reinstallation, the HB.exe still crashes whenever I click on it, with the same error. :/ Any more ideas?

Now that's strange. Especially for Windows 7. I run both Win 7 and XP Pro the only time I had any issues was with XP Pro and .net not being fully installed.
This may seem to be a dumb question but I have to ask. Are you fully logged into game before trying to start HB?

Sorry, gotta revive the thread again.

Thought I should give this bot another go since it's the best in the market. But I'm still having the same error.

Yes, tried it with both WoW on and off. It's not that it doesn't attach to wow or anything, it's just that I'm unable to even start the HB program up. Weird. :/

The program doesnt even start up (crashes with the aforementioned error message when i double click it.) No logs at all. No idea why this is happening.

iirc, the program started up once the first time i used it (way way way back) but hung on updating. I ended the process, and it never started up again.

Hello, how do I open the error report from smartassemblies? (the automated error report sending to Bossland). I don't see any log folders in HB.
