SVN updated. Added: Smite for Evangelism / Archangel. Setting to consume Evangelism is currently located on the Combat tab. This will be seperated (Grinding and Healbot) and located on the Healing tab at a later date. EDIT: There is a 2.5 second delay from when you enter combat to when it will evaluate the first cast of Smite. This gives the tank enough time to take a little damage and get a 'feel' for the fight. Added: Prayer of Mending 'bounce'. If you have Prayer of Mending on you, cast Shadow Word: Death to have it bounce to another party member. Fixed: A couple of range issues.
Heyho I love your Priest CC, now finally we Priests have also a high end CC . Sadly I can't give Rep to you at the Moment. One criticism. But maybe I also missed something. I think it is very complicated for normal Users to download the CC from the SVN. You have to download every single file and put it manuelly in the right folder. (or was I did it wrong?) Is there a Button with "autoupdate" planned or is somewhere a zipped Version to download? So you can download the SVN without using special Software? yours sincerely katzerle
This is an advanced user beta test, it is not a public release. Once it is ready for release I'll be providing the 'usual' download link in the first post. To use the SVN you need an SVN client, you don't download each file manually. In fact, the SVN makes it so you can update your copy of the CC to the latest release with a single click - no downloading zip files, no messing around. There are instructions on how to use the SVN in numerous previous posts.
Weird.. Shortly after you uploaded it I had the time to test it on like 2 mobs and It was working as intended Now, Mind Blast will be cast at every cooldown again - And I honestly can't remember if I updated the CC before this happened xD Though I must say your Default settings is much better now!
The default settings change depending on what I'm testing. While they may be ok now, they will probably change in the update
SVN updated. Added: Wand - for healing spec only, I wanted to test it before adding to the DPS rotation. Wand.....DPS, how do you want it implemented? Wand on low mana, on low target health (not suitable)? Its 3am, I'm off to bed. EDIT: Has any had a chance to test the healbot in a heroic yet? Given how freaking totally damn awesome it performs in a normal I'd really like to see how it would handle a heroic.
I feel wand on low mana is the best for DPS (usually the best for any squishy. I'm just trying to figure out why my dps is so low compared to everyone else when i'm running BoA gear. I'm guessing you haven't put much into that yet since your concentrating on healing which is fine with me... i know you put alot of effort into the CC Any tips on what to use/not use for dps let me know,
I've not done anything about instance DPS optomisation. And, its not even using Mind Sear (AoE) which I find a big part of instance DPS. For now I'm focusing on PVE instance healing. Once I'm happy with its state I'll focus on DPS.
I have healed 3 or 4 heroics so far and not a prob as a disc priest, have not tried holy. Yes very good job cant wait to see more.
Thanks, finally someone has confirmed its suitable for heroic healing. Thanks. I used to play a Holy priest for a very very long time. I used to love Holy spec (healing) vs Discipline spec (healing). But now, Discipline spec is - IMHO - far superior for healing.
Yay love this CC. Probably the best one out there for priest ATM even though its still testing. One tiny problem with healing instance pugs is getting a warlock with an imp. The priest basically spams PW: Fort because Blood Pact always overrides it right after cast. My only solution to this is to turn off PW: Fort, but then most people in heroics will complain at you.. is there a way around this?
On the to do list: * Mass Dispel - not sure if I will do this or not. * Divine Hymn * Optomize DPS rotation Anything I've missed, what else can I add?
so far it seems pretty stable. Biggest thing I see is settings. Being able to have different settings per character (so if HB is loaded for more then 1 toon of the class it will not share the settings like 1 DPS priest and 1 Heal priest) And also along those lines.. implementing something like ski has in his Warlock class where depending on the situation your in (PvP, Instance, PvE) it will load a specific configuration also. Just 2 things that come to mind right off the bat.
Per character settings are something I probably won't be adding. But as for dynamic environment settings I will be adding this - its already supported on some of my other CCs.
