not right off hand. i might in the morning.

the i7 is pretty solid, but i don't use cpu heavy programs, so i went with the amd 6 core. i also went with 2x 5770 ati's (middle of last year). gigabyte motherboard, and 8 gb ddr3 1600 mhz ram (corsair) (2x 4gb sticks. it has room for 4 slots, but I don't use more than 20-30% ram with 8gb). 650w power supply, and a thermaltake aluminum case.

now if you're going to be running 20 bots, then by all means... get a supped up i7 with 16gb ram and the whole sha'bang.

the only thing i wish i would have done was buy a SSD with my purchase, but they were so freaking much back then. Maybe i'll buy one soon :)

      lol sorry xD

      i7 and AMD 6 cores are CPU's
ATI is a video card. the other major brand is nVidia
Gigabyte is a manufacturer of a motherboard (i like them or Asus, maybe nforce... but eh)
Corsair is a ram manufacturer. there are quite a lot, but corsair has never let me down
a power supply is just that, a box that u plug your cords into
an aluminum case is the big box that holds everything and has the power button stuck on the front of it :p

Nvidia have the better drivers, ati card run amazing but also bad driver support and run hot.

If i were to choose between the 2 id take the nvidia card just because of the way they run and the druver support..

As for your issue with wether to buy or build, Build straight up cheaper and if you know what your doing alot easier to maintain and keep up to date!
