So after having bought honorbuddy solely for the purpose of posting 800-1000 auctions a day automatically with the eAuction plugin, I spent 8-10 hours carefully listing hundreds of different types of auctions and the prices I want to sell for. Today I download the latest version of Honorbuddy and LOSE all of this data. I was quite concerned that there was no mention of a local xml sheet with my data and it seemed to be stored server side. Is there any way I can retrieve my data? Is it stored locally or serverside? If I can't get the data back or have a way to store it locally, I don't plan to renew...
I was looking at the Auction House Bot and I begrudgingly said to it, "I can't quit you." I decided to write up a script that enters in all my auction pricing preferences into the bot's data fields by copy pasting them from a .txt and using simulated mouse and keyboard presses. This way, come each patch I won't have to spend a couple days rewriting the whole damn thing. That is just ridiculous... especially when you don't just deal in glyphs or ore but rather buy and sell in EVERY market on the AH... too much boxes to fill out if they just get deleted each update...
They don?t get deleted, but in case of an update you can always make a backup of the setings.auct, or download a setings.auct from the forum. it is located in your /*Honborbyddyfolder*/plugins/auction/
Thank God I still had it in my recycling bin. I managed to rescue all of my data. Thanks Bengan you really saved me there!
With eAuction can you have it use your auctioneer addon so it will automatically undercut the competition? Or is there a setting for this?
You could saved a lot of time, if you had done fine research before! >>> http://www.thebuddyforum.com/general-discussion-forum/22917-[how-]-eauction-setup-yes-will-run.html There is already an setting file included with most actual items... I love lazy peoples =P
