At any level, Its always better to quest than grind--no 'ifs', 'ands', or 'buts'... 1) Questing is several times faster than grinding to acquire level 2) Questing gets you better gear than grinding 3) Questing offers better coin than grinding 4) The number of quests completed makes you look less like a bot if someone checks your armory 5) Quests contribute toward rep, which makes you look less like a bot in the armory 6) Quests contribute towards achievements, which makes you look less like a bot in the armory The only thing that can beat Questing for speed is PvP or Instancing. The latter two will get you to 85 faster and provide you with a little better gear. In my opinion, quest until 85, then do Instances/PvP to get your gear. Just my $0.02, chinajade
Questing is significantly better then grinding but from my experience with questing it requires quite a bit of babysitting which can be a problem.
