Was a fresh account and used a question profile 1-30~. Got a 72 hour ban for "hacks" at that point. Looked at forums, many others were getting similar bans for questing profiles. Lay low for a week then leveled using hand made grinding profiles. Would watch the bot for 6-7 hours a day.

Not really sure what the bans are from. Im sure I never got a player report and have been botting since glider days for 24/7. Used CD Keys/Game cards from store. The only link to another account was the RaF invite I sent it.

      ***Notice of Account Closure***

      Account Name: *********

Reason for Closure: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Unauthorized ***** Programs ("Hacks")

This account was closed because one or more characters were identified using an unauthorized ***** program, also known as a "hack." These programs provide character benefits normally not achievable in the World of Warcraft. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. Use of these unauthorized programs harms the game environment because they offer an unfair advantage over other players and supersede the intended limits of the game.

Even if this is the result of account sharing, the account owner can still be held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game environment.

We've found the above behavior is many times directly related to groups responsible for compromising World of Warcraft accounts; we take these issues very seriously. To better understand our position against exploitative activity and the risks involved, please review this article: http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?locale=en_US&articleId=25455

The exploitative activity that took place on this account violates the World of Warcraft Terms of Use. We ask you take a moment to review these terms at http://us.blizzard.com/company/legal/index.html. Note that additional Terms of Use violations may result in more severe actions against this account, up to and including permanent closure.

If you believe your account was compromised, please submit an in-game petition or fill the contact email form at http://us.blizzard.com/support/webform.xml?locale=en_US. You were lucky not to get a bann sooner.
How do you know you did not get player reported?
Times change and blizz bann for anything now, also with stupid excuses.

Overall botting for 24/7 with Grinding profile's is asking for a bann, blizz must have counter installed were if you grind a certin mob for a stupid ammount of hour's and only that mob it auto bann's people.

Never had a whisper or communication from anyone ever. My bot doesnt even run into people where it grinds (low pop server)

I believe its more based on the account uptime. Otherwise the quest profile wouldnt of ended in a suspension >.<

btw when I state I was 24/7 that was on the 1 account with 5 toons rotating around.

I could report you without whispering you. In addition, a player from the other faction could have reported you. They cann't whisper anything to you.

I dont think you understand. the characters arnt anywhere near a player. Like in the middle of wetlands it never met a single person.

Regardless I emailed blizz and was like "WTF" and they reversed the perma ban. Just further convinces me that they are using some other heuristics that may be giving false positive at this time. I have never heard of blizzard unbanning an account without claiming you were hacked or something along those lines.

Did you babysit it all the time? If you're botting there, someone else could bot there aswell. This person could have reported you. Just a guess, no offence to you dude :)

I got two accounts banned lastnight, had them on 24/7 and they got hit at level 66 using 1-68 tuba profile.. got them unbanned this morning. Never had any suspensions on them, had a 3rd account a level behind the first two and he was untouched using same profile, so makes me wonder about blade's edge mountains snce thats where my two 66s were questing.. gonna use instancebuddy to get all of them 60-70.

Surprised you got hit so early though, 30? yeesh. I've seen people get hit at 51 with lowhanging fruit, but I used it to 56 then tuba to 66 then got hit. I had another toon do the exact same thing but I alternated with instancebuddy and hes been fine, and just hit 80.

So, it couldnt have been a player report, why? The two 66s that got banned were on two different servers, the one thats a level behind is actually on same server as one of the banned ones but wasnt banned.. I started them all at the same time. I've got another one thats level 53 now and did 1-53 using low hanging fruit, nothing yet.

I just dont see the possibility of getting player reported across two diff servers, but having a 2nd toon on one of the servers be safe.

Hope this disproves the "omg you did too many hours a day" people.
