sorry if this has been answered somewhere else, but what i've found hasnt worked for me. working on a lv 64 pally. professions: Minning 42/Herbalism 40. i've been trying to set up PB to lv up my professions, but for whatever reason, even tho PB says it's running; the toon just sits in game doing nothing. i set HB to "questing" mode, enabled PB; open-->loaded the "[mining-herb](1-300)ground" profile, and wheni click on the red button on the top right hand corner of the PB window (labeled "Stopped") nothing happens. when doing this, but while using the "[mining-herb](1-300)flying-GB2" profile; the button on the PB window, does go to green and switches to "Running" BUT the toons still sits around doing nothing. also tried other profiles with the same effect/results. i've attached a log and hope it's of some help. lastly i dont know IF it has anything to do with it BUT this account is NOT a cata account and its only a BC account so i DONT have flying ability for azeroth BUT i am making sure that the box labeled "Ground Mount Farming Mode" is checked within HB. i hope someone here can be of help, as this is driving me CRAZY!!! thanks in advance. ps: forgot to mention, my account with HB is Lifetime

recheked following the instructions given in the link: 1. Make sure HB has a profile loaded that the current bot can use.. for example if using Quest bot you need to load a valid quest order profile.. im using "1-68 Horde Questing" 2. Make sure Professionbuddy is enabled in the plugin list Checked and re checked 3. Select Professionbuddy in the plugin list and then click the "ProfessionBuddy" button to open the GUI. A GUI similar to the screenshot above should appear checked 4. Now click the "Open" button in the upper left corner the UI and browse to the PB profile that you wish to open. There are some profiles in the Honorbuddy/Plugin/Professionbuddy/Profiles/ folder. PB profiles are different then HB profiles..... i've tried all, but as of writing, im using "[mining-herb](1-300)ground" in the "HB\Plugins\ProfessionBuddy\Profiles: dir 5. Now that you have a PB profile loaded click the red button with the word "Stopped" in the upper right corner of PB's screen. It should turn green and change to the word "Running" i click on said button, but it doesnt change to green and i get the following error line: "This profile does not contain any profiles fitting the character! Err: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at Bots.Quest.QuestBot.Start() at Styx.Logic.BehaviorTree.TreeRoot.Start() at HighVoltz.MainForm.ToggleStart() in c:\Users\Public\Public Games\Blizzard\HB\Plugins\ProfessionBuddy\MainForm.cs:line 147? any ideas? thanks again.
this toon is at lv 64, so it can use a flying mount, BUT i dont have cata on this toon's account so i cant train to use flying mounts in Kalimdor/EK. so i was "forcing" HB to use ground mount mode...
if you want to use it with ground mount choose Grindbot on the dropdown menu,then hit the big "Load Profile" button next to the dropdown menu and load a random grinding profile that fits on your char lvl then go at PB interface and load the proper(for ground mounts)default PB profile you will find the default profiles at Hb main folder--->plugins--->PB--->profiles for flying mounts is the same procedure the diff is that you must choose Gb2 on the dropdown menu and you have to load a random Gb2 profile and then on PB interface you have to load a PB flying profile
when you say: "load a random grinding profile that fits on your char lvl" you don suppose that the profile im useing "1-68 Horde Questing.xml" will work? i trying to use that profile for HB and the "Minning-Herb 1-300 ground" profile for PB but currently it still not working... even tho this time, that red button does change to green it still sits there doing nothing. lastly, when you say "random grinding profle that fits on your char lvl" do you mean profession lv(in this case minning 44/ herbalism 40) or actual charater lv(in this case lv 64)?
nope the questing profile wont work on grind bot thats why i said load a random grinding profile by grinding profile i mean a simple farming profile,you can find them on forums
sorry i give up.... i've been trying to look for a farming/grinding profile but all i come across are for higher lv uldum ect. and if im following correctly, this doesnt fix the issue right? it just a work around so instead of having PB lv this professions, we are just trying to farm for copper (since im so low lv) all the way till i have to start farming for the next ore(where i would guess, i would need yet another profile) and then so on and so on, and then turn around and do the same for herbs..... any how, ill just do it by hand and hope that i have better luck with GB once i really need it.....

It changes automatically from 'Grind' to 'Questing' when I press the 'Stopped' button, resulting in the ol' good 'This profile doesn't contain...'
