yea but u use AVG free right? i use internet security but right now i managed find something really good.... it turns out that my bot works and aint giving me any session invalid errors if i set my firewall to let my computer be in DMZ more(Demilitarized Zone)... which means that every bit of security provided by my router will dissapearmaybe i can put AVG up now

AVG Free is still a good antivirus. That combined with Malware bytes will stop many things.

i named my PC chuck norris, and that alone is enough to scare off viruses and infections.

Well i use Avast, it is free and light for the computer. but i don?t need any really as i produce so much gases here and that scares the viruses away even more then Chuck Norris.

Just watch carefully what you download, and you'll be good to go w/o AV.

However, if you _REALLY_ need AV, go for nod32.

I use avast, had MSE for awhile but it let something past that really screwed my last install up.

Also used AVG for awhile but its really gone downhill inthe last few years.

My vote goes to Comodo. The home user version is totally free with complete malware protection, sandbox technology and a award winning Firewall (yes you can disable it with out any problems, you dont even have to install it if you dont want it, just deselect it in the instillation. They make enterprise security for companies ect...

The sandbox used to block out HB from injecting it's self into wow but they added HB to their white list or something like that some time ago because im having no problems any more.

      Agree,

No offense to anyone of you when i say this but.... REALLY!?!?! norton??!?!?!?!?

You guys dont know much about computers do you? That is by far the worst anti virus out there...

it rather have no AV than nod32 and ask around abit on the net and then youll see that nod32 sucks

      again... no offense :)

You do realize that nod32 is NOT Norton?

I might need to re read the thread, but who the hell said anything about Norton?

Agree that AVG has gone down a bit in the last years, I have personally used nod32, AVAST, Kaspersky, OneCare, MSE, and maybe others, and I liked all of these for various reasons.

I am one of those people that format my system every couple months anyways, and sometimes don't even install ANY type of AV. (like now)

There are pros and cons to the different products, try a few out and see which fits you.
