So uh.. what do I do with these?

Prospected a thousand or so saronite, and now I'm stuck with green gems that go for 1g a piece and blues which are 5g a piece. How am I going to make money? Just post 500 gems on the AH? What do you guys do?

True. But saronite still sells for 20g on my server so I don't think its worth it to vendor yet. Plus, I have a 450 JC.

ahhh people still sell the ore cheaper than it is to sell it to vendor on mine lmao

 

Vendoring is often more cost effective than auctioning even at 20g/stack, since you spend far less time posting/waiting. You know you're gonna get a consistent price and it's as easy as right-clicking. If you have a gbank full of saronite, it's a lot easier to vendor than to find a buyer for it all.

The time you save could be spent farming more.

 

There are so many liars in this thread. 30g/stack for Saronite? Take your bullshit elsewhere.

@ OP - if Saronite really is going for 20g/stack on your server then you're an idiot for prospecting it. If you aren't attempting the Saronite Shuffle you should be vendoring bars or auctioning ore.

Just got a temp ban for flooding ah with saronite so I'm a tad paranoid

 

This is the way to go. If you don't know why this will most likely pay off then I'm not going to bother telling you why. (Read around and think of the reason for yourself).

2 ore per bar
8 bars of Sar per Titanium bar
16 ores per bar

While it may not seem the best I think there is profit to be had here in the future. But it is still a gamble. (Not like you are losing anything)
