i just got home from work to test out my honorbuddy but when i logged in said could attach a wow instance so i restarted and now its says: Loading Honorbuddy 2.0.0.4620 settings. Authenticating.. Buddy Sessions: 1/1 ----- Shared Sessions: 0/0 You have used all of your Honorbuddy sessions! Authentication failed! Did i miss under stand and the 24.99 was for only a one time try? Pls help, thanks in advance.
when it says cannot attach to wow. restart the wow.. and when it says sessions used up just gotta keep trying or restart your comp.. its just a bug.. Nothing to worry about
Hi, Bryen, No, no, the 24.99 euro is for a full year of using Honorbuddy. ^This^ is exactly right. When Honorbuddy ungracefully disconnects from a WoWclient, sometimes it takes a few seconds to a few minutes to reset the session. The session should become available again after a short period of time. If you're in a hurry, log onto here... Log On - Buddy Auth Portal...and explicitly kill the session. But, I believe you will find this unnecessary. cheers & welcome aboard! chinajade
K now that im in and loaded the questing 1-60 profile it gets stuck on quest pick up and at the bottum it keeps saying downloading mesh and just keeps blinking over and over. Im guessing i did somethign wrong. sorry i know this probably isnt the forum for this but im new and lost. Thanks for any help.
You're at exactly the right forum. You'll have to attach a log anytime you ask for help. Without it, we simply can't see what's happening and have to guess, and there's dozens of reasons things fail. Your logs are located in <HB_install_dir>/Logs. Find one that demonstrates the problem you're having. To attach (not cut-n-paste) it to the post, when you make a follow-up post hit the "Go Advanced" button. On the new screen that arrives, scroll down to a button called "Manage Attachments". It should be obvious what to do from there. cheers, chinajade
Here is what its doing idk if its actually downloading something i missed, i was trying ot get it to start out on a toon that i have thats lvl 16 and he is sitting in sw i didnt know if it would pick up and just go from there or if i had to take it to the area but ikeep getting that download thing. The profile i am using i downloaded in the profile forum area for the lvling one. I can do the dungeon one it is working now but the questing one seems to be not working not sure whats going on.
Thank you for the logs. You are sure downloading a lot of meshes. This is normal for a first-time user. The process can take up to 20mins or maybe more depending on your connection. But, it looks like you're acquiring them at a reasonable rate. Meshes are the way Honorbuddy knows how to get from point A to point B. Nuok's profile travels a large part of the world, so there are a lot of meshes it must acquire. When you start seeing messages like he following: [6:53:24 PM:548] Received error code from mesh server when attempting to download Azeroth_33_53: Session is invalid!Shut down Honorbuddy, and restart. For some reason, it looks like your session is timing out. Perhaps, because of the volume of information you're downloading. It should eventually get everything it needs, and carry on. If you'd like to try something else, switch to Kick's profiles. They are actively maintained and more recent than Nuok's. It may get you off to a quicker start. cheers, chinajade
chinajade your my hero the instance one is working great. So question is the gather bot and arch bot a seperate cost or is that in with HB? Do i have to use the stock ui or can i use my tukiu ui ive been using?
ArchBuddy, and GatherBuddy2 are only available if you purchased Lifetime, or the paid-plugin key. I'm not sure what you mean by this, but I'll interpret it as "Can I replace the class-drivers that ship with Honorbuddy?" The answer is "yes". Those things are called CustomClasses, and are available here... Custom Classes We have a number of very gifted people in the Community that write these things. Some are tailored towards healing, others max DPS, others are very robust (i.e., are hardy for PvE purposes, use every trick and gimmick of the class, detect LoS and Evading mobs). CustomClasses geared for DPS and Healing usually forego hardy/robust to get the speed they need for their jobs. If I guess wrong at the meaning of your question, just try again. They are not plugins, but alternative bots that you can run. Its a dropdown box on the HB front panel. And, once again, these bots are only available if you've the Lifetime product or a paid-plugin key. cheers, chinajade

They both come as part of the "Flying key" (aka, "Paid-plugin key") for 3.99 euro/month. Just click the "Home" button at the top of the forum, and there are icons on the right of the new web page that will take you to the shop. When you make the purchase, be sure your email is correct, and any spam filters are turned off. They key is emailed to you, and not 'invoiced' through the shop as the main products are. cheers, chinajade
Thanks china, and one more thing, is there away i can take some areas out of the profile its got me in loch modan and im lvl 19 killing lvl 11s seems a lil fishy to me just dont ant ot get in trouble.
It depends on how the profile was written. If it was written using checkpoints, then look for a line that says... <QuestOrder> or <QuestOrder IgnoreCheckpoints="True> and change it to... <QuestOrder IgnoreCheckpoints="False"> After doing this, stop/start Honorbuddy when quests start to go grey/green to you, and the Honorbuddy should skip to the next area that is level-appropriate for you. But... for this to work, the profile must have been written using checkpoints. You also run the risk of bumping into a chain quest for which you didn't complete the pre-requisite quest in the chain. Most of us 'just let it go'--you won't be in the area that long. cheers, chinajade
so i got up this morning and i tried to log in and it had me reset my pw due to supicous activity. I reset my password and i got in just curiuos why that happened, i prob used hb last night for like 3 hours questing and dugeons, but iwas at the computer the whole time. Another question can i use my authenticator and use hb too?
No--its two different programs/servers involved. One is WoWserver, and the HBserver is not related. cheers, chinajade
