No 9)Was your account involved in gold selling? No 10)EU or US realm? US Kind of a piss off, Ive been botting since glider so i know im not a complete idiot lol, But something must be going on, Because last week i had 2 accounts banned with no warning or email or anything, And now today i got another 2 accounts banned. My 2 new characters were both only lvl 24 and 30.
yes blizzard has final gathered enough statistical data to find patterns for certain profiles and identify who is botting based on that. its nothing new blizzard has been banning people based on statisical data for some time now, it just seems like they finaly gathered enough to identify the pattern of the profile, and ban people off that.
This seems to happen only on the US side? I see tons of bans everyday and almost everyone is on the US side.
Yeah, I got banned twice in one week on the same account, but it seems to happen most on grinding profiles... I'm not in U.S btw
No, both were different IP like my 2 previous account's were botted at my GFs and these 2 were brand new accounts 30 or so hours old botted at my place. And i was questing/grinding my old ones but these low level ones this time i was grinding.
they dont ban off IP. I am also a exglider user. May be a dumb question (as you used glider in the past) but did you use a CC for these accounts or store bought CD keys? I also believe something else has changed server side tho many disagree.
Did you use a VM when creating the accounts? There's a few admins that have said blizzard will sometimes ban based on hardware keys
I started 4 vanillas last week using the 1-60 lowhanging fruit, 3/4 got suspended in the marsh when escorting that big reethe ogre.. the other one was 2 levels behind.. they unsuspended them, then i let them go 12 hours, turned them off and 10 hours later they suspended them (while offline), i replied saying are you nuts? i wasnt even online how could i be *****ing? they unsuspended them. I got a closure a day later on a diff account then they said it was compromised so they gave it back, but they linked the compromise to the three vanillas that im talking about, and closed them for "scamming".. fucking ridiculous. but yeah theres something with the quest profiles, some how that one vanilla is still not banned and never has been touched.. its currently "compromised" You'd think if they compromise 1/4 vanillas then 3/4 scam closure they'd either compromise them all or scam close them all.. i wonder what the hell goes on over there.
the truth of the matter is no one knows what they use, the only thing we can be sure of is its not a detection by warden. speculating on what blizzard is doing only spreads mis-information and wastes time.
Well every account I've gotten caught on via punkbuster has for sure been given back for "compromised" accounts.. I even got one unbanned that was banned a month ago because it was on the same .net as one of the "compromised" accounts, at first the admin said all 5 on the .net, then said just 3 of them would remain closed.. was pretty cool. Of course I decided to get greedy and act like well why not the other 3? and they banned all of them again.. wouldnt say anything about what happened to being "compromised" but gave me a final review saying no removal on any
