Instead of logging out while stuck, make it use your hearthstone.

In addition to this, develop a plugin which notices if a innkeeper is within a certain yard range and sets your new home there.

Example: I let my HB run overnight as my hunter is leveling up. He uses disengage and gets stuck behind an object. Instead of logging out and waiting for me to log in a couple of hours later when I wake up he uses his hearthstone and then starts moving back to the location he was grinding at. And since the alternative plugin (which sets your new home when you are close to an innkeeper) already made your new home pretty close to your farming spot I'll assume that you'll be back at the farming spot pretty quick.

Good idea, not sure how it would be done but It sounds like it would benefit grinders / farmers a ton. :D

Glad to see some of you liking the idea. Let's hope a developer sees this and agrees with us.

It kind of looks to me like there is a serious shortage of Community developer time at the moment. (I.e., the problem is much wider than this thread.)

A few of you guys should look at learning how to do it, so we have more developers for the Community. :D

      cheers,

VisualStudio Express is your development tool. I'd love to recommend an open-source tool, but have yet to check them out--my impatience got me started using VSE. VSE is free as in gratis, not free as in libre, and available here...

This was written for writing CustomClasses, but 90% of it applies to Plugins also...

If you don't know C#, here's how to get started...

If these are too 'beginner' for you, a Google search should provide something more suitable.

      cheers & welcome aboard,
      chinajade
