Pretty much this. I run three bots, I don't have time to process all this gear and I don't have the market to buy 1000 plus rings that I make. Time to profit ratio, I'm better of vendoring and sticking to cutting the infernos and selling those when patches hit. I guess you have to do what works for you, depends on how much ore you are moving and your individual situation.
No.. It is exactly the opposite, IMO.. The beauty of botting is that you don't have to do shit yourself - there's no need for you to squeeze out every last penny when you can just bot some more
I made a post about this previously in a different thread, but here goes; Vendor uncommon; Blues, purples, yellow and orange Vendor Rare: Blues, yellow and green (check prices on your server, but most of the time these just aren't worth cutting and they dont often sell) Craft uncommon: Greens into jasper rings (or just vendor if you can't be bothered with Disenchanting) Cut: Inferno, Demonseye and Ember topaz into popular cuts on your server Xmute: Carnelians into inferno rubies using heartblossom and alchemy Failing having any of the above professions steps, you can just vendor all the uncommons and then cut the purple, orange and red rares into popular cuts and you will still make money. Good luck.
Vendor them all! Simply because otherwise you'll be left with way more blue quality gems than your market can handle and you won't sell them. On average a stack of ore will yield 6 gems (green quality in Obsi, 4/2 green/blue in Ele/Pyr). Any stack that is sold under 30g on AH is pure profit. One of my servers has Ele drop to about 18g per stack from time to time. 50 stacks of that will get me 600 gold with very little effort. Do that all day and presto: KATCHING
