***Notice of Account Closure*** Account Name: WOW2 Reason for Closure: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Unauthorized ***** Programs ("Hacks") This account was closed because one or more characters were identified using an unauthorized ***** program, also known as a "hack." These programs provide character benefits normally not achievable in the World of Warcraft. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. Use of these unauthorized programs harms the game environment because they offer an unfair advantage over other players and supersede the intended limits of the game. Even if this is the result of account sharing, the account owner can still be held responsible for the penalty because of the impact it had on the game environment. We've found the above behavior is many times directly related to groups responsible for compromising World of Warcraft accounts; we take these issues very seriously. To better understand our position against exploitative activity and the risks involved, please review this article: Blizzard Support The exploitative activity that took place on this account violates the World of Warcraft Terms of Use. We ask you take a moment to review these terms at Blizzard Entertainment: Blizzard Legal Documentation. Note that additional Terms of Use violations may result in more severe actions against this account, up to and including permanent closure. If you believe your account was compromised, please submit a Customer Support Ticket via Battle.net: https://us.battle.net/support/ticket/submit. Our support staff will assist you as soon as possible. I'm sorry for your loss. But how is this how out no where? You bot you "ALWAYS" have the risk to get banned. Thats just how it is, you knew they when you brought the bot and unfortunately you got the ban hammer. Don't bot what you can't afford to loose.
I got one of these a few minutes ago on a new account with no marks or suspension, just a email saying closed. Im working on trying to get it back but who knows what will happen. Ive been using hb for maybe 2 weeks like 3 hours at a time and i got the hammer so who knwos they might be a wave again.
That is the player reports/warden/serverside hack detection ban, an automatic email from something you were doing. Use Speedhack or Teleport? Bot without replying to whispers? Bot in busy areas? Tough to say what got you, but a GM didn't come along and ban you, that is a different form letter. Since there has been no GM involvement yet, you could get your account back...be nice, play dumb, ask nicely, acknowledge there are hacks, but reassure them you are stupid, but not stupid enough to risk your account and you don't even know how to run wow in windowed mode or some crap....you might get it back in a couple days, or they'll let you know it is gone forever. Spend that energy on writing a good letter instead of getting pissed off.
im at work so i logged into my battle.net account and did the my account got hacked recovery forum is there anything else i should try to do to see if i can get it back?
Been there I got one of those on my account a few weeks ago sent in a question about it next thign i saw was a new email saying 72 hour ban.
