It happened to me yesterday. I recently started botting again on multpletoons on one accounts. I was pretty much doing it all. Instances, herb/miningruns. I was playing a fair amount and botting around 10 hours a day. When I got booted and banned I was at the computer and I was running avery small leather profile I created. What is odd is right before the ban I noticed my graphics were off. Items onspell bars were black and this has never happened to me before. I ignored itand five minutes later bam! When I got booted and then banned I had some type of lua type error. My "guess" is that something malfunctioned and blizzard detectedsomething and a auto ban kicked in. Either honorbuddy went screwy when I wasswapping toons/realms or blizzard turned something on to see what was running. It may be happenstance but all night I was getting booting to the logon screen as well. This was unusual. I wasn't running any other hacks but I did have the plug in enabled thatclears up your bags. I had just added it yesterday. This is the first time this has happened to me and I was able to get itreversed. No more botting for me...on this account
No doubt I was hitting the "sauce" a lot. I'm not surprised it happened, but the graphic glitches seem like a smoking gun to me. I'll post back if I see them again. Had never seen them before. I was healing with IB and it was pretty darn slick. I only did 2 or 3 instances that I didn't supervise. I'm hoping to find the software cheap online to start a new account I sure like this more than the game
actualy man the same thing has been happening to me recently id bin getting booted to login screen then i got the whole graphic glitch mind u the glitch has happend before while i was watching the bot but restarted the client straight away but the other day i didn touch it bam same thing as u 48hr ban got my acc back today and i havent bin booted once,which is weird as the last 1-2 weeks it happens a few times a day especialy wen i log 1 char and go to log another
Maybe the graphics glitch is something triggered on you by blizzard. When the GFX glitch out are you unable to use the spells that are blacked out via clicking or hot-keys? Does the bot not use hot-keys and clicks to cast spells? If the GFX glitch disables you from being able to use the spells via clicking or hot-keys and the bot is able to bypass those actions and keep casting, maybe that's how blizzard checks accounts that are reported as bots? Once they notice your still casting and haven't re-logged it issues a suspension?
I too have experienced graphic glitched spell icons from time to time. I typically just type /RL to reload the UI and haven't been banned yet.
The graphics glitch is a problem on Blizz's end...at least the switching between toon logout problem...it has been occurring for a couple of weeks now although I have noticed it hasn’t happened as much since the last patch. A lot of folks don’t notice it if they only play 1 toon the majority of the time. For those with multi toons and various professions on each it is simply murder. My entire guild was complaining about it a week ago or so. I have experienced the single action bar key issue but normally only with 1 slot at a time. One spell will light up as though I am using it and the button becomes "stuck" and is permanently trying to cast that one item. Sometimes /rl will fix it, others I need to log out and back in again. I have so far only had this problem on my main (never botted), not on my bots and assume it has something to do with an add-on or graphic setting somewhere. Still playing with it.
