I'm going to try this again since the last one was closed because someones 12 and mad. I am having an issue when i start up HB and try to log in. This is my log(All of it, don't ask for it a second time)

      "Logging in...
      Buddy Sessions: 0/0
      -----
      Shared Sessions: 1/3
Error attaching Honorbuddy to WoW! - Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
      -------------------------------
You have not selected a valid instance of WoW to attach to!
Please restart Honorbuddy and choose a valid instance of WoW to use Honorbuddy with!
This version of Honorbuddy only supports WoW Build #14333
You are currently on build #14333
      -------------------------------"

Before you ask (again) I have tried rebooting and tried clear it from processes and tried running as admin (even though I have UAC disabled so that doesn't change anything) and both my Honorbuddy and WoW are fully up to date (HB 2.0.0.4982 and WoW 4.2.0 (1433)) I would love some suggestions that aren't just repeats from my other post ...again... ( http://www.thebuddyforum.com/support-issues/29089-not-valid-instance-wow.html )

Thanks to Tony for very kindly giving me the opportunity to open a new post on the same topic for no good reason. More thanks to people who have actual helpful suggestions...

      -AJ

PS: That wasn't irony in the previous post, it was sarcasm...

My bro is having the same problem. When I logged into his pc I noticed his version of honorbuddy wasn't updated. Even though he had extracted it. I haven't had time to work with him since, but if we figure it out i'll post back.

Have you checked your settings to see if you are running WoW in DirectX9? It won't work with WoW in DirectX11

I have only ever seen this error without wow open or still loading a character. HB will not work properly at the character selection screen either. I didn't read the other thread so I assume you have tried this, you actually have loaded a character and it is somewhere in the game.

I have been trying this with a character selected that is signed in. Thanks but that's not the issue.

First off, I searched recent posts (posts since the new patch that would apply to this exact issue) and none of them related to this exact issue. some were kind of close, but none identical.
Second, if there weren't any post there how could I "bother to read anything posted by previous people"?
Third, I don't see how a post relating to the loss of the "old HB" would apply to this issue. Yes the new one is less stable, but i cant even get started meaning thst stability isn't the issue.

The intelligence has been returned to you...killer...enlighten me...

if he post in this thread again, then report the post and ill hand out an infraction, no need to sink down to his level.

now as far as the issue is concerned, mind posting a full log from your log folder as an attachment please so we can really see whats going on, little copy and paste snippets aren't going to work.

What I posted is the full log. I included an attachment, but it doesn't really help.

try giving reinstalling the .Net Framework 3.5 a try, and see if that fixes anything.
Download Details - Microsoft Download Center - .NET Framework 3.5 <---heres the download link

download and install the latest directx runtimes. most likely this is whats missing. since a new wow install can run wow, but is sometimes missing things needed to hook the wow process.
Download Details - Microsoft Download Center - DirectX End-User Runtime <---download link here

also try doing some windows updates, chances are there's some there you need to do anyway there's no better time then the present.

try this out and see if it works for you, like i said im willing to bet the .net framework or the DirectX runtimes are the issue.

when you start the bot, you are in world correct? like you can move around and cast spells and all that? (sounds stupid, but needs to be ruled out)
