I sell enough mats so that I can buy out all the cheap items and relist for a price that suits me better. If you keep doing this people eventually begin to realise what is happening and they try and stick to the new price.
Ok... With prices like these.. you need to "think out of the box" A market like this.. means that there is too much offer.. and not as much demand, which eventually leads to lower prices. You can either "work" on changing the market (buying mats and reposting them), or find a market that you can be successful in. Look for other materials that you can farm using GB/HB(if you have HB) , find the ones that are : 1-easy to farm and obtain at least.. Medium-high amounts of it. 2-can be farmed without much effort (excluding creating profiles). 3-has a good Demand (most important one). 4- The profit you can make out of it, is more than you can make with the mats you are farming at the moment and having troubles with. The process of finding the best products to sell can take time and effort, but it sure is worth it

give up on saronite. i get 3 times the price of saronite for cobalt on my server. and that's just one example. i have one farmer herbing and mining in outlands fulltime... just find the things on your server that are going for more. best of luck to ya !
Not sure which server you are on, but what I have noticed where I am is that low level mats sell for more then the higher level mats. Sungrass 90g a stack and so on. I gave up on the higher level mats and opted to farm the lower level stuff and not undercut the other auctions on the ah. It's crazy what I seen green gear sell for. I should say I still farm the high level mats, but those are really just for personal use, if I check the ah and the prices are up I will post a few of those auctions.
Today i have sold atleast 100 stacks of lichbloom @ 50g a stack.. and maybe about the same icethorn @ 30g a stack.. lotus has dropped down from 35g to 24g each It was easy to predict that was all gonna happen.. prices will obviously settle in a few days.. but im cashing in BIGTIME during the chaos period
and TBH if you have enough gold you can change the market on your server.. (unless there are several bots all 24/7 pumping the same thing) and in that case EVERYBODY wins ..... - Your profits rise - If other people play along (dont undercut you in half etc) then they make more gold - People need more gold to buy it - They might think about buying gold I did that a few weeks ago for frost lotus on my server .. kept it up for about 2 weeks.... I bought EVERY SINGLE ONE in the AH that was below 38g .. stuck them all straight back on at 38 (most i bought for around 28-32) .. and of course if you time it right (before raids) .. then people WILL buy the lotus to make flasks ... It can take a *epic* "War chest" to do it.. but you will make the gold back if your smart/brave
Lols funny thing was after the patch some smart guy decided to put up stacks of saronite ores for 1600g and I ROFLED. So just to mess with the market even more I put mine up for 1599g. Not expecting any sells but lucky me there wasn't any goldclovers so I put mine up for 60g then 80g and surprisingly they sold.... Not sure if it has to do with GB being down lol.
