Back in Wrath and BC it was Hunter and Lock by a land slide just because you didnt have to eat or drink since you never had aggro with pet and never had to worry abotu adds because they (with a good CC) could handle 6-7 with no big problems. But since cata came out my vote has to go with a rogue. I started another to see how teh changes where and a Combat rogue is UNSTOPPABLE. Pali sucked for me till around lvl 35-40 and then it took off but im not sure what its like now. Edit: i do use all BoA gear though on every toon that i lvl.
Without a shadow of a doubt I have to say Blood DK. I'm using a modified version of the Singular CC with more focus on self healing and I got 3 DKs from 55 to 85 with it without any trouble at all. It's just nigh impossible to kill a decently played Blood DK. (I've stopped using heirlooms on my DKs as well; it was just too much of a hassle to keep track of the heirlooms and really, the DKs don't need them. At all.)
Any class with some sort of good survivabilty is a great botter. I have my priest botting right now 27-58, and its leveling like crazy- completely flawless. I would say the best botting class would be Paladin, just because of all the CD's and plate armor. And the worst class would probably be a hunter or a rogue, both have almost no heals, a hunter is screwed if he cant get ranged, and a rogue is screwed if he cant vanish. So really you just need a healing class of any sort.
I found Paladin and Hunter's were fairly easy, I kinda had more problems with Hunter opposed to the paladin, but that's just probably a CC issue.
Paladin is good due to their high survival skill. I would recommend going Protection and using AoE CC in the forum since it kills thing the fastest. Has no problem killing any NPCs for quests. Shaman is also good due to the ShamWOW CC. Very good combat script. It does have a hard time taking on multiple NPCs and wanderers. Elites also gives it problem but that is a class mechanic. Hunter is not so good. I been watching it for the past 30 levels. It tend not to deal with multiple melees very well due to the dead spot on shooting. This is a class mechanic and I don't think switching CC will help.
these kinds of threads has to stop... there are too many of them xD there isnt really a "best" class to bot, its what you preffer.. i did 1-85 with my lock, hunter, warrior and im working on my druid atm (level 71) of those, my lock and hunter was the easiest... lock never goes oom or dies
warrior is good till 80 since its victory rush does 20% hp and more if fury and more if glyphed. you dont need food or downtime. only problem is at 80 you take a lot of damage and if you pull adds you will need rest
because you get a massive headstart, any class is easy to lvl up really the bot does all the hardwork.
Shaman.. Mainly because of shamwow . Also if you full y deck yourself out with boa's any class really. Currently leveling a rogue and only died once from 1-40 Sent from my GT-I9000 using Tapatalk
Pally due to almost 0 downtime, self heals, bubbles, etc... Also Warlock is pretty much the same as hunters but with unlimited mana in a sense. Life Tap + Demonology you can have a doom guard which takes more aggro than you do and you can use lifetap for more mana if ever low. CC's have been made to do this. 1. Paladin 2. Hunter/Warlock 3. DeathKnight (starts at 55...)
Feral Druid, because it rips trough most of the mobs in no-time, but there's not that many good CCs for ferals these days, you have to know where to look for And my 2nd favorite is Shaman (Ele + Resto offspec), because ShamWoW is... WOW! and Having Resto offspec kicks ass if you grind+do dungeons in the same time.
I only lack the warrior (75) to have all classes to 85 and all of them were pretty easy. I think its all about the cc. Heck I remember in lich when the shaman went from 70 to 80 and never rested or the cleric when spirit made them go 1-70 and never stopped. Still a good cc made them better. dk is fastest because they start at 55 I always thought that wow would change in lich king, oh you have an 80 so you can start another class at 60.
