Today I had both of my accounts get perma banned! The reason... Reason for Closure: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Abuse of the Economy. Now im not gunna be one of those forum cry babies that claim that they have never sold gold (blah blah blah) because I do and thats how they got me. I submitted tickets for both accounts trying to get them back. Here are my results: Toon 1 - (ME) Why did I get banned? I would like to get a real answer and not some form letter. (THEM) We understand your point of view and have thoroughly reviewed this issue. As a result, the account action has been removed from the account and all involved parties have been addressed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Having been perma banned in the past, and NOT getting it back, this blew me away! Now for account #2 Toon 2 - (ME) I have done nothing wrong...why am I banned? (THEM) Thank you for your follow-up email. An additional review of the previously communicated action taken against the World of Warcraft account (WoW1) on (**************.COM) has been completed. Unfortunately, we have confirmed our initial findings. The account action will not be reversed or amended. DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN!!!!! Or so I thought... I came back at them with this: (ME) No...this issue is NOT resolved! I want proof that I did anything wrong! I just started this account not very long ago and have done nothing but level my toon. Show me proof of wrong doing or give me back my account! This "form letter" response will not do! And to my surprise... (THEM) We have restored access to this account, and you should be able to log in with your old password. Originally, we had suspended this account because the character above -- perhaps unknowingly -- withdrew gold from a guild bank that was found to be involved in activities we consider to be harmful to the game. I got the same account banned 3 times this week and every time It got un-banned. I have NO idea what's going on! lol
So what I want to know is, was this guild bank used a ton for selling gold? I mean they just said it was a guild bank associated to selling gold.. maybe should just skip guild bank all together.
