[SMALL BANWAVE] Password Reset, 72h Ban Abuse of the Economy Well, this does not really affect Honorbuddy, but i noticed, that some ppl in this forum got a 78h slap this day, me included - so a thread about this might be useful. I recieved a Mail at 2:25pm with Subject: "Battle.net-Account: Passwort zur?cksetzen" (Password Reset) 6 Minutes later 78h Ban, reason: Exploitative Activity: Abuse of the Economy My first guess was a hack, because i executed a keygen.exe 20mins ago without knowing if its safe - ye, stupid. But the fact that other ppl were also poor victims of this act let me think that Blizz started a little Banwave against innocent Goldsellers. So, any other guys around here affected to this? Edit: Yeah, there was defenitely some sort of Banwave for Goldtransfer. You can post here, to keep it central.
Got unbanned this day. I wrote an email to Blizz, whining about the ban. Today they unlocked it. Great
Got banned aswell for the same reason yesterday but i didn't even sell any gold and i havn't done that either before.
I've gotten the password reset e-mail 2 times now, most recent one 2 days ago- but NO suspension or ban. It's like somehow I'm opening a gm ticket saying I got hacked, but I am NOT opening the ticket. It is from legit blizzard too, as my PW stops working when I get the email. When I log into the WoW website and go to support> active tickets I have this message: ACCOUNT COMPROMISE REPORTED Greetings, Thank you for contacting the Game Master Department. We have reviewed our logs of your account. The account does not appear to have been accessed by an unauthorized user, and no damage was detected to any of your characters. Fortunately, it appears as though your account has been unharmed! If you intended to use the webform to simply retrieve your account's password, you can also retrieve it from this page: https://us.battle.net/account/support/password-reset.html Once there, use the "I think I forgot my password…" option on the left-hand side. This page can also be accessed by clicking "Can't log in?" from the Battle.net login prompt. Once you provide your registered email address, your name, and the answer to your secret question, a temporary password will be sent to your registered email address, which you can use to log in to your account and choose a new, permanent, password. If there is something that was missed or still needs to be done, you can click the ‘I still have a problem’ button, and we’ll be notified. Thanks! ********** Blizzard Entertainment Again, I NEVER opened tickets or tried contacting Blizzard in any way. I'm going to use this against them the day I get banned lol.... Gonna say something like "I've been trying to tell you guys someone is messing with my account blah blah blah!" Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
