US I went to sleep yesterday, and left my rogue grinding with kick's profile of 1-60 grinding. The bot grinded overnight, levelled from 50 to 59 during this period. I woke up, it was disconnected. Then I did some bg by hand, and started doing Kick's outland fly quest profile. It spent about 10 minutes or so downloading meshes for outland, and then I got a diconnect by force, and could not log in again due to a 72 hour suspension. I have gathered heavily some weeks ago, but lately not playing much. i am pretty sure this ban was due to the grinding overnight, as I never been banned before, and it was the only thing I did different. I usually use grind with mix mode to BGs or Instancebuddy, and never been banned. This time I just left grinding. Pretty sure it was an auto-ban. thats it. I will just wait for the 72 hours and start botting again. My advice: GRINDING IS DANGEROUS.
I think I've come to the conclusion that grinding is un-safe as well as I just got banned under very similar circumstances for 72hrs after running Kick's grind profile for 1 day.
I grinded my hunter from 1-80, and quested with the marvelous Kick's profiles for the rest. Thanks for the warning by the way Kick
All I can say is: Grinding with mixed mode (instancebuddy or BG buddy) seems safe, as I done it many times with no isseus. Pure grinding seems to me a no-no now.
yep just got 72hr ban from kicks grinding profile on my rogue (tanaris) well I was expecting it... seems now I'll bg from 1-60 instead of grinding
Yep, just got a 72 hr ban also. always told myself i wouldnt grind.. always quest bot, but got sick of it just doing nothing over night, grinding for 2 levels in SMV.. not a gd idea.
