Is there a line I'm supposed to add to the force mail.xml file? I've searched and searched, and I don't see the option on the bot, or in the file, or code to add on the wiki, or much anything. Maybe its right in front of me, or maybe its just not a option, perhaps I misunderstood, it sounds like I'm supposed to designate a toon, and that is all, but have no idea where to designate that at. "The ForceMail mechanism tells Honorbuddy to mail certain items to a designated toon instead of selling them, or leaving them in your bags." Any help is appreciated.
You also need to click on the "Settings & Tools" button of Honorbuddy, and fill in the "Mail Recipient" field. cheers, chinajade
I have to be overlooking something. I've leveled one to Lv20 and started a few others, it hasn't mailed anything yet from any of them, I haven't told it who to mail anything to, that would be the question. I don't think you can mail to yourself, is that what its supposed to do? Never mind, china posted while I was typing that, lol. Thanks Kickass and china!
My newb mistake was failing to see the scroll button in the setting and tools menu. It looked like Mount and Meshes was the only options there. Yep, one of those right in front of you problems, humbug. Thanks again.
Just a thought, is there any way to mail items to different recipients? For example, sending ore to alt1, herbs to alt2?
Its not a newb mistake, its bad window design. There is absolutely no reason that window shouldn't be sized properly when it displays. There is also absolutely no reason that window needs an 'advanced' button--all the information should be made immediately available. My goodness, all those settings have already been hidden by having to click a button to get there, no need to hide more of them. just my $0.02, chinajade
No, Honorbuddy doesn't do this, and I know of no plugin that will either. Most of us that need this capability use the Bulk Mail WoWclient addon to get the job done. How this works, is you have all your bots mail items to a central toon (which may or may not be a 'banker toon'). Then you use Bulk Mail with the central toon to distribute the items where they need to go. Be careful, if you are using the central toon for multiple accounts. This will 'link' the accounts, and increases your risk of the other accounts being snagged if one of the accounts gets banned/suspended. cheers, chinajade
