      I'd like to see something like lazy raider for pvp. I dual box bg's quite a bit. I normally manually play my dk while having my shaman on heals duty. Yet I die alot because my shaman is healing someone else in the bg. I'd like to see something set up to heal just my dk or w/e toon im dual boxing with. I tend to db my druid/pally/dk w/my shaman.

      Noticed this myself, quite often the bot will path under something like a tent/canopy based entirely on the height of the character when unmounted so if you are on a mount it will instead run at the tent for a few seconds, then eventually dismount or jump into a stuck routine. Workaround for it was to use a mount that doesnt increase your height like the engineering chopper but that gets a little expensive for alts

      I would like to see tatcis selection in bgbot patrol/attack/defend etc integrate auto droped flag clicker, prioritise healers in targeting etc.

      I would also like to see Mail/sell options in settingsinterface of bot.

      This makes the hazzle with editing profiles obsolete.

      sell Green - checkbox on/off , Mail Green - checkbox on/off (if sell is enabled it overrides the mailoption)
      sell Blue - checkbox on/off , Mail Blue - checkbox on/off (if sell is enabled it overrides the mailoption)
      sell Purple - checkbox on/off , Mail Purple - checkbox on/off (if sell is enabled it overrides the mailoption)
      etc etc

      also implement a protected items part.
      Less manual editing and a more pro bot.

      as soon as we zone in, go to the door (not the tunnel)
      once battle starts, go midfield or EFR and sit in one of those places

      do not:
      sit in our keep and keep getting reported AFK
      run through water

      Battle for Gilneas:
      stop running through the water all of the time. Yes, crossing is fine, but instead of running alongside the bridge while playing in the water, take the bridge instead :(

      Well, in SoTA, the bot likes to go to gates that aren't/won't be attacked.

      For example, if the alliance has broken through the purple gate, they obviously arent going to bother with the red gate anymore...but the bot runs to the red gate to "defend", maybe make it so, it knows which of the two gates was broken and it goes there? or it just follows the crowd of people running there?

      To make things simple for PVP (unless you are willing to add "Objectives" to each battle type) I would add something very similar to Openbot. Have the character path to the highest concentration of characters on the map so it always stays with the main crowd.

      In the perfect world, each BG has objectives, so write code for it. Example: AB, objective would be to move with the crowd and weight the objectives, like the flag, so if you run by one, or happen to be fighting by one, one of the tasks should be to click the flag. In AV, kill and clear towers, back cap, take objectives and hold (optional) or cap and move... alternatively, your target selection should also keep in mind these weights, especially in WSG. You'd key on the flag carrier first, then healers, then everyone else in that order (imo).

      i used to use a hack that would automatically pick up a dropped WSG/twin peaks flag after they dropped it. It's now outdated and broken.

      would be nice too add the feature so when we kill a flag carrier it will automatically pick it back up if in range.

      IB2 is being developed

      give it some time, it's not like we can simply be like:

      follow group
      kill stuff
      get out of aoe
      read commands from group
      cc stuff
      run away

      etc

      it's not easy to code

      Think we need a new poll or some of the options removed.

      At this point I think the main thing needed is better BG logic. Have it read battle logs to determine where the action is or use the map to locate players.

      Also build an auto-relogger into HB itself. Include the option to run on a schedule where we can set times/days and it just read our computer clock.

      Pvp. Needs work. The meshes need updating, something small even like including the spikes on wsg horse bace entrances and the little moonwells on the alliance side tunnel entry, making them part of the building so the bot avoids them completely, as of now, it still to this day gets stuck on both.

      Sota needs work. The gate functions. If the gate is up or down could do with some work. Maybe something to tell which gate is currently under attack so it goes there to defend, priority system of course, the closer the gate to the relic, it goes there first.


      Native vehicle usage.
      I'm sure its possible. We could use pvp vehicles, quest vehicles, etc. Just be a general nice update to make things smoother, quicker and more realistic in general.
      To quickly add to this. Literally just asking for native usage. I'm sure the community could make/keep an updated external database or something where we input different vehicles, the abilities they have and so on that HB can use as a reference when your character enters a vehicle.

      Reputations. How about something with that. With instancebuddy one can practically level afk to 85 under ideal circumstances. If HB could have some kind of reputation check. I'm sure a tabard switcher after reaching exalted could be included in instancebuddy.

      One thing that I think needs to built into the Settings/Tools section is the ability to log-off after X # of deaths in X # of mins. We've all seen horror posts from people that have died 100+ times while a profile was running and they were AFK. Even with a profile that you've tested 10 times, it is ALWAYS possible for something to glitch and suddenly you run into a pack of mobs that were not expected. Then you res and you run right back into them again and again and again.

      I would think that putting something like the following in would work:

      Logout after ___ # of PVE deaths in ___ minutes
      Logout (drop down option #1 Until manually restarted / #2 for ___ minutes) after ___ # of non-BG/Arena PVP deaths in ___ minutes (very important on PVP servers!)

      Obviously it would have to be more compact for the menu options... but something like this would protect our accounts from something going wrong in the middle of the night.

      - and if the person is using a relogger, enable a 'DNR' (Do Not Resuscitate or Re-log) exit code so it won't just log the person back in and start over.

      PVP is so broken, the logic needs to be reworked on BG Bot. I know its beta, but its beta for 4 months?

      Other then that, half of the times my char goes Away.

      For BG Logic, why not make it similar to lazy raider, go to highest concentration of players and start attacking opposite faction or healing allies. If that has been done already then why have I not been alerted D:

      I think PvP should be highest priority out of the features and I think we should have a few more 'advanced' guides on how to use HB efficiently (IE. these plugins, this setup, these bg's = safest way to bot honor) etc :D

      Incredible for gathering, farming and well I don't know if I should thank honorbuddy team or the person who made lazy raider but.... IT IS AMAZING! O.O

      Raphus, If I could make a suggestion... when you or another dev are working on something like BgBot, how about opening up a new thread and asking for very specific things that people think need to be changed/added/removed from how it works now? I'm hoping you are at least going by what people have already said in here, but if you are about to work on something, getting targeted comments on what the priorities within that project might be helpful.

      I for one can't understand why I see little blue circles with red x's on my minimap indicating a battle going on that is beyond my visual range - but basically being reported to me by the other players. If my minimap can get that telemetry, then HB can too and base decisions on it. aka, why would my toon run towards a base that has zero of my own players anywhere near it? It would be a pretty safe assumption that as I get close, it's going to turn really ugly, really fast.

      Why is it that in EoTS that my bot doesn't recognize that it's prep time in the 'bubble' and just chill instead of looking like a rat trapped in a cage, flipping out back and forth? Once the bubble bursts, why is it that BgBot will run him right off the rock and then sit down to heal when he hits? If you run at it at the right angle (not hard to figure out), it will at least brush the lower rock, greatly reducing damage. Why not have the bot take that route down?

      Why is it that toons just don't want target the enemy and attack until they are attacked much of the time in BGs? I will be testing an old plugin that may have actually addressed that problem and simply been forgotten... hoping it will help with that situation: [Plugin] CombatHelper - Targeting, pulling, RaF and stability fixes

      Can we get the toons to focus on the objectives (bases and/or flags) and avoid fighting on the roads if possible. If I can spot an approaching enemy and swerve my path to avoid him while moving towards the base I'm riding towards, so can the bot. Of course, that doesn't mean it will be any more effective than I am sometimes. If they move to intercept you, they often will be succesful and you will be forced to engage.

      These are just some of the 'highlights' I can think of off the top of my head... but if you asked for specifics from others for BgBot improvement, I'm sure you oculd easily fill a seperate thread. ;)

      Better human-like BG:ing, Flight Path's so that they dont bug out during leveling, also. The Bot Zoning perfectly, maybe quest bug fixes ( if there's any, all chars 85 so only farming for now ).

      Got another one I just thought of a few minutes ago...

      Would it be possible for the game to record errors to the mesh as it finds them into an update file and then allow us to click an SendUpdates utility and it would check if we had any updates, and if so, connect to the HB server and upload the updates? I figure that as our toon ran around, if it got stuck on something, it could make note of it and then all of us could upload our updates on a regular basis and help to improve on the Mesh. It would take a bit of programming for the HB program to actually recognize an undocumented obstacle and ensure that it's not an error like when my toon thinks it's stuck in the middle of an open field and jumps into the unstuck routine.

      Hope something like this could be added some time in the future.

      If possible, you should creat something to allow RaF questing !
      Moreover, it would be cool if we could plan when the bot is running (like a planning, with auto login and auto logout)

      To conclude, a chat log would be great (does it exist ? If yes, I haven't found it)

      Better BG Logic, Personally when i play any class with the ability to res i wouldnt use it in a battleground, ive also tried multiple XML's and all of them if on the horde side get stuck running into a wall when trying to go to the horde flag room after spawning in wsg, for druids they should remain stealthed (feral) whenever within x radius of ANY enemy player

      Hi everyone,
      I am not sure if this has been requested elsewhere, I haven't been able to locate a thread on it, but is it possible to incorporate a "harvest" function on mobs if you have the corresponding profession(s)?

      What I mean is, there are some mobs that are able to be harvested if you have a profession that enables it. Some elemental mobs can be "mined" and others can be harvested by herbalism and some can be engineered.

      Beasts can be skinned, so I would think the logic would be similar.
      I realize that most of the time you just get garbage, but sometimes they have items of value when harvested.

      Sorry Kick if this isn't the right place for this post or if it has been covered all ready.
